I really look forward to seeing who the next announcement is. Since these are coming in waves of two, it will be interesting to find out if they are going with another tag team or maybe do a rivalry?…or I suppose do figures that just make sense for that era.
Curious to know from current collectors: how do you display your LJN collection? Will you be keeping these loose or MOC?

I believe on this thread they already leaked that Marty Jannetty would be in the next wave, and I can’t imagine who they could pair him with, since Shawn Michaels is very likely not an option. So I’m guessing that linking the 2 figures in each wave isn’t a requirement. As for your question, I plan to display mine on my home office wall MOC (with these Demolition figs next to my Mattel WWE Legends Demolition figs, surrounding my loose complete LJN collection in my Ikea- Detolf(?) case). Just gotta figure out how to make space as the line continues to grow!

I only ordered 1 set and these are going on the shelf loose next to the rest.

Hello fellow-wrestling figure enthusiasts. I know the Major Pod team already has lots in the Pipeline for this collection, but who are your top 6 realistic wants (no one with WWE contracts, as far as we know)? I know they already have their fingers to the pulse of what the fans typically want, but I thought this would be interesting to gauge regardless.
My Top 6 realistic Big Rubber Guy Wants: 1) Barbarian 2) Bad News Brown 3) Bushwhacker Luke 4) Bushwhacker Butch 5) Earthquake 6) Dino Bravo

So I’ll replace him with “The Natural” Butch Reed

Looking at the guys that they and their friends have worked with in the past, then Earl Hebner might be a option for the line - maybe they can even sign his late brother Dave so they can pay tribute to the twin referees angle right in the timeline of the LJNs?

Does anyone else think these figures look *too* good. I do believe MWFP will deliver on quality comparable to the pictures - and maybe they feel off -- but otherwise they really do seem like incredible figures that totally match/exceed the original LJNs. No retro line has been able to pull that off so far.

We’ll probably have a good idea on the feel of these when the folks who ordered the Matt & Brian BRGs receive them in the next few weeks.

In the video interview with Kanik , he said they went through several trials until they had just the right feel and bounce as an original ljn, even the new smell they have is distinctive to the originals

Why are these 50 a piece?

Why are these 50 a piece? Because they are a small, independent company with, likely, relatively low production runs. Also, these are heavy and the cost includes shipping. Indy toys are more expensive. I’m being selective with this line, but I’ll gladly pay $50 each for the ones I want- like Demolition.

Why are these 50 a piece? $50 each is a great value considering these are low print, include a ton of paint detail, and are heavy AF. If you consider each figure weighs at least 1 pound with packaging, what do you gather it would cost to send 2000 pounds of figures from China to the United States? Additionally, shipping a 2lb box from the East to West Coast can cost upwards of $16-18, even with shipping discounts. With that said they still offer free shipping. $50 free shipping for one of these is tremendous!

LJN's aren't really my thing, but I could be swayed by some WCW guys in that style. Probably not possible, but a surfer Sting would be outrageous, or, not WCW and probably not possible again, a Warrior.

For the size of them, 50 isn't too bad, IMO. It's Hasbro style figures being 50 that winds me up the wrong way.

We went through many prototypes. These definitely feel very close to LJNs. Certainly the closest thing to LJN compared to Jakks, Chalkline, and Jazwares. We appreciate all your feedback. We even changed the Smash variant paint slightly to be more accurate. We wish Series 1 was in hand already. Should arrive in the USA Thursday. We will show off Marty Jannetty this week. Unfortunately HBK is not the other one in the set. We will reveal the other person later this summer. 🫡

LJNs were my first toy-love and cemented my love of wrestling. This gives me warm nostalgia feels, and I really appreciate that! I look forward to getting the Demolition figs in hand and beginning to build this new collection!
