Got mine ordered too, easy ordering process! I also listened to an interview with their co-owner, Mike Kanik, on Wrestling Figure News podcast. He suggested this series would be alternating with the Bendies line, new series of 2 figures every other month. Also, this and the next series would be “made to order,” to get a feel for production numbers, and that they have lots of legends signed and sets planned through 2024. Oh Man! This could be a Game Changer (and get expensive)!

Thanks for the heads up. I’ll have to listen. Did they say if each series would be 2 figures? If so, every 2 months is doable but can get pretty expensive if you are buying nearly all of them or a completist.

Yeah, he said each set for this line would be 2 figures, to keep costs and collectors’ budgets in mind. I’m going to definitely be selective, but as long as they keep doing 80’s WWF guys, I’m likely all-in! Bring on The Powers of Pain!

Is it weird that I hope I don’t get the chases? I appreciate that they’re doing them but I just want the standard versions.

Thanks to everybody who purchased. We are working on making this line a huge success and plan on releasing figures slowly so nobody gets overwhelmed. Pick and choose. Don’t feel you need to get them all. We should have pictures of Marty Jannetty by the end of the this pre-order window!

It’s funny, since Jannetty’s first WWF fig was Hasbro and not LJN, I think of him as a 90’s guy. But sure enough, he did debut with WWF in the 80’s (I am drawing my line as an 80’s WWF collector). So you got me with him too! Exciting times as a Golden Era collector! Thank you!

The Rockers were in the company at the time the LJN's were still in production, a Rockers set would be amazing!. Shawn seems like one of those guys who's big enough to sign side deals (like Hogan, Andre, Savage, Flair, Bret, etc.) And since Mattel isn't making these types of figures, it wouldn't be in competition with the company signed with WWE.

That’s a good point. I wonder what the legal logistics would be, since like you said, WWE/Mattel isn’t doing similar scale figures. Still though, it wouldn’t surprise me at all if anyone under their figure deals are off-limits. I did hear both Cardona and Kanik say they’d want to do an Iron Sheik if he ever became available. Cardona said in their podcast he’d want to do him in his more commonly worn trunks.

I think it's really smart they are doing pre-sales to gauge production numbers. The Demolition figs look great -- if they look that way on delivery, hope this line is a big success

Yeah, I imagine they aren't going to try and ruffle feathers, pretty much leaving anyone already under a deal with WWE/Mattel off-limits. Sheik would be good too.

With the Tonga Kid news recently, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him get one down the road. Given their love for Ricky Morton I’d probably also expect a Rock & Roll Express. Road Warriors would be a hell of a get too. There’s a lot of possibilities out there that I’m actually more excited to see where this line goes than I originally expected.

Just ordered my Demolition set! These look amazing, and as someone who grew up with LJNs, I am beyond stoked for 'em.

Does anyone know when Smash wore that variant facepaint?
I hope they can make their tongues red, since they usually were.

I just hope it’s successful enough to continue but if anyone can do it its these guys as they do know there fan base and market. I wonder who will be paired with marty jannetty in the next wave!? If they are coming out every other month its super easy to collect and i will continue to buy them as long as they go.

Ordered Demolition. As someone who grew up with the LJN's this was a must have. 34 years later and finally Smash will be made after the disappointment of not getting him or Barbarian to complete two tag teams. I had both Bam Bam Bigelow and Don Muraco with marker on his face fill in as Ax's partner so I could have Demolition. Can't wait to see who else they make. I do hope Powers of Pain get made at least.
