Received my set of 3 today (several pics/comparisons on my IG). I think this set gets better and better each wave. The pale skin on Andre doesn’t bother me or very noticeable in person. But next to that tan savage anything would look pale lol. If anything the Andre head sculpt could be better but he has been a tough one to capture. Even the major companies struggle with his unique features/likeness. Savage is insanely good! Now bring on those bulldogs and announce the next wave! We don’t feel the Andre is too pale but can totally understand where people are coming from…especially compared to the Macho Man. Bulldogs are being worked on now. The next wave will be up for pre-order on April 5th! 3 figs. We hope these are our best sellers yet. Here’s a hint. We really appreciate all of the fans of this line…the feedback and the social media posting! The more you guys spread the word, the more figures we can make! 1 should have been in the final series. 1 is a LJN redo. 1 fits the LJN time but never got one. Great mix for the next wave! I like this balance!

While it is likely Barbarian as it's been rumored for awhile and pairs so well with Warlord for the LJN redo, I personally would love a Bad News Brown for the "should have been in the final series" BRG. Barbarian would still be really cool don't get me wrong, but Bad News Brown was such a great heel, had some classic feuds, and I think has one figure made of him. All in all though, it'll be a winner regardless as this line is legit! 4/5 is so close, yet so far away! As always, thank you for being so interactive on the board. Here is me tipping my hat to you-🎩🤏

If anybody regrets having passed on these, I am debating about parting with my set. The quality is fantastic, sculpts are great, but I think I will focus on Hasbro-style and WWE Ultimate Edition. As I am located in Germany this is a good chance for any fellow European collector.

My guess/hope remains Powers of Pain and for the 3rd, Dusty Rhodes. I don't think it's dusty because they can't do the polka dots and matt said the 3rd fits within the ljn timeline but never got one which makes me think it wouldn't be dusty from another promotion

I was thinking NWA Dusty, mid-late 80’s pre-polka dots.

He said “fits LJN time” nothing about which company. If we’re still getting Powers of Pain (please?!), I’m guessing the 3rd is *not* from WWF. They gotta mix it up and spread them out for the longevity of the line. Maybe it’s Arn Anderson? He recently got a Bendie too.

Slightly off topic but today I was able to meet Demolition at a collector con show. I was super tempted to get my big rubber guys chase set signed ($80) but opted to just speak with them briefly, Shake hands, talk their current figures. They put over the big rubbers and epic toys figs big time. I let them know how great it was to meet them when i was 5yrs old and how kind they were to me back then (as heels) and that was a long lasting memory. I still have those autographs. They were so nice today and appreciative. Great experience and anyone with the chance to see them should.

They said other than top talent that had specific spots. Most of them drew actual numbers and didnt know who was coming in or what spot. Ax and smash didnt know they were 1 and 2 and just crap shooted a fight til “thank goodness andre came out so we could switch to him, first time we we were happy to see andre! Lol” ax did go onto say how close him and andre were and how andre would call his wife to stay in touch while he was on tour in japan and andre was filming princess bride. So many good stories today real or not. Just a great moment in time

So many good stories today real or not. Just a great moment in time i do remember them saying something similar to that now that you mention it! mostly the "first time we were glad to see andre" part haha. but as you said, real or not...i loved hearing the stories they told. with some wrestlers, you gotta take stories with a grain of salt but i feel like ax and smash have more truth than fiction to their stories...maybe with just a little embellishment to make the stories more entertaining to the average fan

I met Ax years ago when I was a kid when he was teaming on the Indies with Blast as the New Demolition. At the time he wasn't keeping in touch with Smash who was still with WWE as Repo Man but he was very humble and super appreciative. The Bushwhackers were also there and some kid wanted a photo, but didn't know he had to pay. Luke was its 20.00 . Ax wound up taking a photo with the kid at no charge he's a class guy. Any time I can buy Demolition merchandise I do

Or how about demolition crush? Would be great, but he wasn't around during the LJN era. For the sake of longevity, I think the best decision would be the branch out 2-3 years in either direction for the LJN line and make the people that either just missed it or have an undeniable toyetic quality.

Could be Butch Reed Based on the hints, there are many options, depending on who is available to them and who they consider realistic at this point in the line. Great Muta, Ronnie Garvin, Rock n Roll Express members (though they’d more likely be together), possibly a Freebird or Von Erich?
