Placed an Order today for Powers of Pain. I was on fence about Dusty as I really only want classic WWF figures but like Flair and Magnum before him I ordered them anyway. I really am blown away by each wave so far.
Keep them coming and I’ll keep buying them!

As for any remakes I would like to see: early heel Hart Foundation in the Black and Blue, Honky Tonk Man & Ted DiBiase with wrestling gear, Iron Sheik with shorts, Hercules with black shorts and light blue trunks, Haku as an Islander with matching Tama, JYD in Blue or White, Harley Race no jacket, Adrian Adonis with black shorts from his biker days, Steamboat in white and George Steele with painted chest hair and a heel Magnificent Muraco.
I'm not holding my breath for SD Jones, Corporal Kirchner, Ted Arcidi and Outback Jack

Just watched the new Squared Circle Expo vlog on YouTube. There’s a clip of KoKo B Ware and Kanik talking. Easter egg, perhaps? Getting him in ring gear to compliment his LJN would be great! Or even just doing a different look, as he had multiple toyetic attires!

But I also wouldn't mind a DiBiase in the black tux with a molded on Million Dollar Belt. That would look amazing.   Honky Tonk Man in a jumpsuit with the IC Title molded on would look great too. Though, I imagine they would need the rights to the belt.  Though, I'd prefer this jumpsuit:  |

Kanik has said in multiple interviews that Honky Tonk Man asks for a Big Rubber Guy whenever they see each other at cons. So if/when his Legends deal expires, that just might happen! Getting him without his face turning into a zombie, in entrance gear or ring gear, would be nice!

Here's my hopes
1. This line continues to the point where it is overwhelmingly successful
2. It continues to where it can go deep into the roster and we get some popular jobbers like The Young Stallions, Iron Mike Sharpe, Sam Houston, Barry Horowitz & Lanny Poffo (pre Genius).
3. Maybe after all is said and done the powers that be can turn there attention to oft forgotten and overlooked WCW Galoob line of 1990 -1991. There are some glaring omissions like Larry Zbyszko, Tommy Rich, Nikita Koloff, Bobby Eaton, The Young Pistols and Terry Taylor among others. I would also like to see a reverse and maybe like we are getting some NWA guys in LJN styles we get a Hart Foundation or a Demolition or a Bulldogs in Galoob style.
Keep up the great work you have a solid fan and true supporter in me. Whatever you guys turn out count me in for two. If I ever do criticise and by that I mean somebody's arm pose was off, it's probably because I had too many Pabst that night.

So earlier this week Warlord and Dusty Big Rubber Guys go up for preorder (along with Barbarian). Now today in the Mattel reveals, they show new Warlord and Dusty figs?! Did ya’ll pull a Zombie/Punk and get a quick fig deal just before they went back to WWE/Mattel? Or is this the beginning of more talent sharing? I’m hoping it’s the latter! I feel like with non-exclusive deals, we would all win- the fans and the companies!

Judging from the Mattel releases and Epic’s recent production plans for PoP, there is a decent chance they aren’t exclusive. Whatever makes the wrestlers the most money is what I like to see. I’m not accusing them of doing anything illegal at all. They have spoken repeatedly on the pod, interviews, and here, about legal limitations, legends contracts, etc. I’m honestly wondering if it’s just a timing issue for these specific talent or that contracts are shifting to non- exclusive. |

I know. It was a shoe on the other foot reference as the Major guys accused Epic of that when they announced Bobby Heenan. It wasn’t the most responsible thing to do. Hopefully it doesn’t happen again. Edit: This/my original comment probably came across rude which is my fault for not wording everything better originally. My point didn’t need to be made here. I hope people do see what I meant by it but I’m going to go ahead and remove it as it doesn’t do much to add to this conversation. I’m still a fan/supporter of the show and community. Even though I don’t collect this line, I’m loving seeing how much love it’s getting and how successful it is becoming! I’m still working through a ton of figure reviews but the BRG Andre should be done later this month. |
