What do you think were the biggest misses from the Elite 72-80 (2019) era. It could be certain superstars that weren't included or certain ring attires. Im interested in your comments.

Calling a single year an era is just incorrect

Wasn’t really around at the time but the handling of Camo UE seems weird looking at it. Roddy in 72, Fish in 79, KOR in 80 then no Cole until 92. Could’ve been done in 1-4 sets but it took 20 for some reason

I was sent a Cole instead of Rollins and with the belt on you can’t even tell what color or if he’s even wearing trunks…

2019 was the last year WWE had both Matt and Jeff Hardy still under contract, so they missed the boat on pumping out more flashback Hardy Boyz from the Team Xtreme era, as well as making more RA era Matts (V1, 2005 camo pants, etc.).

Not releasing more Sting figures Or Superstar Billy Graham figures. I was watching the Superstar bio on Peacock that WWE put out years ago and I was admiring my figure and just thinking how could they finally get the opportunity to make a Superstar and we got just one figure.. granted it’s kind of a 2 for 1, but still.. missed opportunity And they should’ve pumped Sting figures out at the rate they’re currently making Hogan figures

Could’ve been done in 1-4 sets but it took 20 for some reason And it was an extremely close call because Adam Cole jumped to AEW right around the time that figure was put out. They've had late scratches in the lines before due to talent leaving. Would've been really something to have 3/4 of the Undisputed Era in camo. Also, why not just make two sets of matching gear? Regular version of Roddy, Cole, Fish and Kyle could've been black with yellow or red deco. Chases are all in camo. Seems like putting the square peg in the square hole to me.

I second Buzz Cut Dean Ambrose. That was just silly. Even if it was just for the headsculpt so I could make a "Farewell to the Shield" set with updated looks.
Team xTreme. Why.
They botched Camo Cole so bad and it's a borderline miracle we got him. I don't know what they did to get those Adam Cole figures to happen but somehow at the very last moment possible, we got a complete set of green and camo in one go. But it shouldn't have come to that and again, it's a miracle we got them at all.
Going nearly 30 series without a single Sami Zayn elite and never getting a single Sami from 2019 and most of 2020 makes me irrationally angry. At this point I'm praying for flashback figures because I need a Stomping Grounds 2019 Sami and an Artist's Collective IC Champ Sami in the worst way.
Brock Party would have sold really well and would have been a great chance to put out a different Brock figure than the ones that we got for so long.
Ultimate Edition Shinsuke. I get why it was made, I get that he was huge at the time, I know it's old hat to rag on this figure, but the fact that they made him *when they did* in just the second wave of a fledgling line that was trying to find its footing at an elevated price point... it almost got the Ultimate line killed before it took off and, really, going with Ronda, Finn, and Shinsuke in those first three lines were questionable choices, you'd think they would have gone directly for the legends and mega names at the start to play it safe. Again, I'm grateful it worked out, but I was really worried there for a bit that it wouldn't, especially when Series 4 just never seemed to happen due to the pandemic.
Like said, they had Sting, they should have been pumping him out like the Hogans we're getting now.
They finally gave us pink and blue New Day, but we didn't get entrance attire. Huge want for those figures to come out and then they give us a version that isn't nearly as nice as it could have been.
Speaking of The New Day, changing the Tag Belts to the dull plates was one of the worst things ever. I get that if you look at the belts now, they're pretty dull, but those flat plastic belts that were debuted here are so ugly. Glad we got the UUDD belt though, that was cool. Honestly, IMHO, the Championship Showdown figures, if they're gonna release specialty belts with them, should include the old shiny tag belts. And TWO of them! In the same pack! PLEASE!
We got OC AJ but never Anderson or Gallows. I know we probably will get them now, but missing out on that original run was frustrating.
Finally, not so much misses on figures, but the distribution on exclusives in this period was awful. You either were swamped with them like the IIconics or they just didn't exist like Gorilla, Liv, and Anvil. There really was no in between, and it was awful. I will never be over missing out on that Liv.

I will never be over missing out on that Liv. Great analysis. Yes, was dissapointed that we didn't get OC Gallows and Anderson. Sammi Zayn wasn't necessary imo because he had an annoying character then and his booking was poor. We needed more women's wrestler elite collector series exclusives, Royal Rumble 2019 Carmella should have been made as an elite and Royal Rumble 2018 Naomi would have been great. Asuka, had that Network Spotlight elite still out during that time, to justify her not having an Elite. Sasha Banks and Bayley had heel turns and character transformations to justify them not having elites as the first women's tag team champions as babyfaces. Im glad that we got heel Ronda Rousey in her Wrestlemania 35 look. Charlotte Flair got released as an Ultimate but would also have liked to see her in Wrestlemania 35 attire. With the Defining Moments series brought back, hopefully they release a Becky Lynch from Wrestlemania 35 elite with a much better face scan. I would have also liked to see AJ Styles vs Randy Orton in their Wrestlemania 35 attires in an elite two pack. AJ Styles/Finn Balor two pack was a baffling and outdated choice. Also would have liked to see Shane McMahon in his Wrestlemania 35 attire with his 'Best in the World' trophy.

I was piiiiiiiissed about Camo Cole. I don’t really buy current, but I got all of the other guys in Camo AND black Cole and the variants since I thought they’d at least release a black Roddy if I couldn’t get a full camo set. Then Cole left and I saw the whole thing slipping away. Thankfully we got him, but it was literally just barely. We only got one full matching UE set, and it’s a miracle that we got that. Ludicrous.
It’s also pretty stupid that we didn’t get Strong in black as well, but at least we got the one.

Very similar to what's been mentioned so far, and a few i can think of.
- Black shirt Elite Luke Harper
- Green or Yellow Bludgeon Brothers
- Return (Buzzcut) Dean Ambrose
- Hardy Boyz, including Team Xtreme, mid 2000's and even more return looks
- Kassius Ohno. Grateful we got at least one Elite, but a second in his Kings attire would have been great. Even a Basic at some point.
- Stomping Grounds Seth Rollins
- Updated The Bar Elites. The Camo attire's would have been nice.
- Camo Adam Cole
- MITB Brock Lesnar
- Slimmed down, moustache look Rusev
