Recent figs that have really hit the mark

That Ultimate Andre is fantastic.

Have to also give points to Johnny Knoxville. Just such a cool figure to have.

Don't forget about Seth "Freakin" Rollins UE

I agree with the ones mentioned here. I don't have UE Seth and Andre in hand yet but Seth especially looks epic. I just got AJ in the mail yesterday and yeah, he's THEE AJ Styles figure I don't think I'll ever really need another.

And the Headshrinkers just look epic on my Extended Bloodline shelf, if I were to do anything differently it would be someone build a Target within driving distance for me so I didn't have to pay absurd secondary prices for the set. Or, at least, make it a thing on retail sites that you can guarantee if you are getting regular or chase figures. I only wanted the regular and I knew if I got them from Target, I might end up with the chase figures. So Secondary it was.

I also just opened my Knoxville that I got before my move and, for a one-off celeb figure, they really put their whole chest into it. I'm impressed.

If I could add one more though, and this one isn't too too recent, but the basic Xia Li just blew me away as far as basics go. I never thought I'd see that sort of detail in a basic ever again in my collecting lifetime, I'm very happy to own her even if she has minimal articulation.

The Legends Headshrinkers/Samoan Swat Team do come to mind. The face scans, accessories, and attire choices were just perfect. Also, changing up the hair color for Samu was a nice touch. The only complaint is they have the usual Mattel Skinny Leg syndrome. They were beefier guys, they needed thicker legs.

WM6 Macho King. Great attire and accessories with this one as well. Great part choices. My only complaint is not including the entrance jacket or shirt.

For upcoming figures, definitely UE Andre, that is the definitive Andre figure - IMO. And that R&B Greg Valentine they should a while back, absolute perfection. The right look/attire, part choices, accessories, and they gave him thicker legs (having skinnier legs kind of knocked his first figure down a peg). Hopefully the figure that hits the shelves looks exactly like the one they showed at WM Axxess.

There's been a lot of really wonderful figures just in the Elite line lately. Hats off to Mattel for getting me back into the line a lot.

I have been a collector whose really just been buying UEs/Legends/Exclusives for the past few years. But the last few Elite lines have had some fantastic figures and I've been buying more regular Elite line figure than I have in quite some time.

E101 and E102 overall are just really strong sets. I think they did a great job executing everybody.

I can even recognize the great work on figures I personally won't buy. Like the post above, that newest Elite Alexa is beautifully done but she's just not a character I care to collect. 

I really hope this quality and attention to detail keeps up.
