It's interesting that Rick Steiner figure is still being released. There’s no reason it shouldn’t be, CNN. SICK BURN, BRO!!! I have no personal thoughts on the whole thing, I just thought Mattel would. |

I got AJ and regular Bron holding off to see pics of Solo and see if they changed the torso I doubt they did but we’ll see. Won’t be surprised if they stick with the bryan/aj torso. if they did change it I hope they didn’t choose a torso that’s too big |

The 102 would definitely be better than what’s on the proto. I wish they’d create some new torsos. I’d like to see an upgrade in torsos for the guys like Taker, Nash, Kane.. they skinny torso on the long legs just don’t do it for me |

Wound up grabbing 2 Rick Steiners from pre order 2. Also grabbed the rerelease UE Warrior. Had the original, but sold it awhile back.

should only be buying them if you like the toys anyways, there’s other ways to invest your money Such a flawed argument though. I don’t collect these as an “investment” (trust me I think if most of us here wanted to invest in something it wouldn’t be kids toys). But there is some merit to wanting to own a piece that is more sought after than others. I mean, I don’t care one way or another if they re-release stuff but it is slightly annoying to have been collecting since their launch in 2010 and see some of the things that I enjoyed having in my collection and knew they had a value to them just go back out for retail again. One came hope that Warrior will be updated to pinless joints at least. They’re literally mass produced at a factory in China (and that’s not even including unauthorized production runs that are sold on Chinese secondary markets). There is no rarity to them at all. So your argument is invalid regardless. The only difficulty is in obtaining them when retail distribution is spotty or scalpers grab them first. But regardless, there are tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of each of them produced. Just because I could never find Ultimate Ultimate Warrior at retail does not make it a rare figure. |
