Hello, I heard the reissue ultimate Bret is better than the intial release. Anyone with the two can you confirm or deny?
Really appreciate it.

I believe the only difference is pinless arms and maybe pinless legs, not 100%sure on the legs though

Pinless arms but the jacket arms are still the same as the original.

Thanks for the info. Bret is my favorite wrestler so I was thinking on double dipping if the new figure was better. I had heard the re release had better paint apps.

I think the only difference is the pinless arms... other than that, they're identical.
Anyone know if the box/packaging is the same on these re-released UE figures? Do they say "Best Of..." or anything?

Is the torso molded in skin or pink color?

Is the torso molded in skin or pink color? Maybe it’s like the original where they released so with painted flesh tone and some with molded flesh plastic skin tones? And the top is a black top unless you are asking about the Target figure and not the “Best of” or whatever they are calling the rereleases? And the Target one is molded in pink plastic (at least the two I opened are)

As a collector-nerd, I personally would like some difference in a figure I found in the wild and have held on to.

I do believe the years on the bottom are the same as originally, but I can’t confirm that. I got one of the rereleased HBKs and one Bret and opened them both since I had the originals already on card

But that's pretty disappointing if that's the case.

This is why many are complaining about these - it would be one thing if they were actually being marketed as a “best of” series, but they’re literally just “printing” new ones and throwing them in the old boxes stating they’re from 2019 or whatever so you can’t even tell them apart from the ones that came out 4 years ago..I’ve never seen this done in a collectible before.

In the grand scheme of things does it really matter? It’s a toy. I have four of the original UE series 2(?) Hitman (two with flesh painted torsos and two with molded flesh color torsos) and if I see a best of version I may pick it up. But either way I don’t care if there’s a way to tell them apart or not.

Somebody else having the pleasure of purchasing same $30 piece of plastic in a cardboard box should not cause you this much distress

I’ll say this, I’d the Warrior I ordered comes in identical to the original and is mint, I may use the new for MOC collection as my initial release has a couple package imperfections

Speaking of the Ultimate re-issues, is there any difference in the Shawn and Brock reissued ultimates?
