Faces look too realistic for the rest of the design including the ridiculous proportions. Legs that stubby makes them look like amputees

I haven’t seen any buddies as good as the original and that extends across all the retro style brands
None of the hasbros are as good as the original, same for buddies, same for bendies (although the majors do a good job) etc
I think it’s because you’re trying to replicate something whereas the the originals were not and I think that’s harder than being true to a design.
In terms of plush / teddies etc today I don’t think you can beat the bleacher creatures. My kids have done they have slept with, thrown around, tried to eat, got food on etc and they hold up damn well and also imo look good

I think these look good but nobody there I want. I'd be in on Shawn/Razor/Diesel/Perfect/Piper. Essentially guys I wanted as a kid. I know those are all top guys but 4 of the 5 guys in black seems like a mistake.

Sounds like these are only 10 inches. So they wouldn’t even be in scale with the buddies either.

Same, these look really cool, but I doubt I'll buy any. I might be tempted if they do a great Macho King Randy Savage. An Ultimate Warrior from his WWF title reign (1990-91) would be hard to pass on, too. |

These look like the closest thing to the original tonkas in shape and size ive seen, with a modernized look obviously

I would've been all over these if it wasn't for the heavy black outlines and the price point. I agree that the designs are cool though.

The black outline tells me that these are either single-sided or won't wrap around at the seams. Either way -- yikes.
