How the hell do you remove Sting's jacket from his GAB 1990 Defining Moments Figure?
I dont like that his arms are basically stuck in one position due to the jacket being so unflexible.
Any attempts to remove it seem useless as its so unflexible and tight, Im afraid of breaking an arm even trying to get the damn jacket past his shoulders.
EDIT - I see from photos of others that his jacket should be moveable to other positions.....maybe some hair dryer heat can soften it up?

There’s no give in it to reposition it. To get mine to stay down I super glued the tassels to his back and on another I used one of the clear bands they use to hold a figure in place to the cuffs of the jacket and wrapped them add the tension needed to hold them down. This is the super glued one - And this one has the clear band on it - As for taking it off you just need to kind of angle the arms towards the back and slide one arm off at a time.

Trying that, but afraid I am going to break the arms off! This jacket is awful!

They should be fine keeping the hands straight when putting it back on was the hard part. But if you do super glue the tassels like I did it’ll make removing the jacket so much easier, because once you clear the shoulders it’ll just slide off and on.

It looks so much nicer from the front the way you have it as well.....he looks like Sting did with his arms in the right place. Not stuck out like the little kid in A Christmas Story.
And what is up with his face? I love this figure because of the time. I was 12 and we LOVED Sting so seeing him win the title at Bash was huge for me and my best friend at the time.....So I had to get this...but his face looks like when Sting was a BladeRunner

There is a JAKKS soft goods cloth jacket that looks better. I can't stand the plastic jacket.

It still boggles my mind that Mattel only made 2 Elite Surfer Sting’s. One of the most toyetic wrestlers ever. Hundreds of color combos/face paint looks and we only got 2….To quote the angry video game nerd “What were they thinking?!”
Edit: I always forget about the bash at the beach 3 pack…

That jacket being so difficult to take on and off was pretty much the reason I put him back in the box on the DM figure to display.
