Back when Elite 95 Jimmy Uso came out, many people were saying that it actually looked more like Jay (which I agreed with). Now, it is something that I can't unsee. These last couple Jimmy figures that have been announced, including the Ultimate Edition still look more like Jey to me. Maybe it's because Jimmy hasn't really had bangs with his hair lately? I also think that the recent Jey face scans don't look as much like him as Elite 90 does. Maybe I'm just going Uso Crazy?? What do you guys think?

Has Jimmy ever had bangs? Why they give him them I'll never understand, at least since they turned heel back in 2016 Jimmy has had longer hair while Jey has the shorter hair. Their elite 64 still remain their best figures.

I don't recall Jimmy having bangs, but it looks like he did at one point when googling it.
I think another issue is that Jey appears to weigh a little less/has a leaner look/face (if that makes sense) than Jimmy (and their facial features are a little different). That's really not coming across in figure form for the latest elites, basics and UE.

On his Elite 95 box they show him with that hair style but when they re released him in Top Picks the box showed him with the slicked back long hair.
I'm not sure even Mattel knows whats going on.

The more that I look at the Uso Ultimate Edition figure heads, I'm fairly sure that all of the heads are Jey Uso heads. The faces all look more like Jey. They gave "Jimmy" longer hair in the back, but when has Jimmy had bangs?  His hair is always slicked back. Any other thoughts on this? |

The only reference photos they had of Jimmy were mugshots so they had to improvise and use Jeys for referenceโฆ

This is a mistake that for a big buisness shouldn't even be acceptable once. Yet they still keep making the same mistake and asking people to cough up the money for it. It's embarrassing. Those Bret Hart face scans are embarrassing.
When The Usos appear on TV, they both have distinctly different hairstyles. Jey short hair. Jimmy long, tied back hair! What is so difficult about that where they keep on making the same mistakes??!
It's almost like they don't want to acknowledge their mistakes and keep doing the same thing until people see them as being right.
Sure if you want to do the wrong face scans for people, than don't release them. You don't fool me. In fact their credibility took a hit for me, and I almost considered stop getting their toys when I saw them make the mistake the first time

Jimmy was injured at WM that year so he had bangs 3 years ago for less than 3 months. When he had shorter hair/bangs, his hair wasn't that long in the back so it's not even fully accurate for that time period (and his hair wasn't half red). I don't recall him having the bangs/mullet look when he did the red/black look in 2022.   When he returned in 2021:  2022:   ![]() |

The Jey scan printing is off/isn't as clear (kind of blurry/faint). Not sure how to accurately describe it. |

I grabbed an Elite Top Picks Jimmy to do a head swap with. Still not perfect but different enough to stand out.

I don't get why one has a mullet and the other has a longer mullet when it comes to Mattel. It's another thing when the Uso's called them out for it lol. Both Uso's have different hairstyles, one has braids and the other mullet.

Just got my son the top picks Jimmy Sunday. He just pretends itโs Jey. Looks just like Jey.

I'd say this dead horse has been beaten plenty but considering they've done this three times now, I don't think the horse is dead enough quite yet.
The heads on these figures are just bad. It says something when the Usos call you out themselves on the official reveal show. Which is weird because we've been shouting about this for ages now, did it really take Jimmy complaining about it personally for them to listen? If so, that's really sad, especially considering how rabbit-quick Mattel was to put out a new Solo figure to correct for the abomination his FTIL was, you'd think Mattel would have fixed this particular issue after round one.
Putting out a second "Jimmy" like that is horrible. But an Ultimate Edition, which is supposed to represent the best figure available of that look/era of that superstar?
Embarrassing and laughable. Don't get me wrong, I can't wait for the figures, and they will be going on my shelf. They're just gonna both have alternate, custom painted heads that didn't come packed with them.

It is Jimmy not Jay.. Bcoz we don't have that light which mattel use to see the difference between the two.
