I'd say this dead horse has been beaten plenty but considering they've done this three times now, I don't think the horse is dead enough quite yet. The heads on these figures are just bad. It says something when the Usos call you out themselves on the official reveal show. Which is weird because we've been shouting about this for ages now, did it really take Jimmy complaining about it personally for them to listen? If so, that's really sad, especially considering how rabbit-quick Mattel was to put out a new Solo figure to correct for the abomination his FTIL was, you'd think Mattel would have fixed this particular issue after round one. Putting out a second "Jimmy" like that is horrible. But an Ultimate Edition, which is supposed to represent the best figure available of that look/era of that superstar? Embarrassing and laughable. Don't get me wrong, I can't wait for the figures, and they will be going on my shelf. They're just gonna both have alternate, custom painted heads that didn't come packed with them. It's not beating a dead horse when you have THE ACTUAL TALENT SAYING THAT'S NOT HIM ON THE REVEAL SHOW! Why Mattel continues to fight this when they've been called out so many times is just dumb. Fix your mistake and move on. You don't even have to admit it publicly. Just FREAKING CORRECT IT. It's embarrassing. I watched that unboxing video and it's blatantly obvious. |

I can't find any recent pic of Jimmy where his bangs aren't slicked back. Those heads look so much more like Jey. Those Ultimates are great, besides all of the Jey head scans.

Okay… can we all just understand there was a small window of time they both had the bangs when they had returned on SD.
Then they were off tv and Jimmy no longer had the bangs.
They are twins, so with the goofed up hair on the scans, they are going to look very similar.
They’ll eventually get a Jimmy headscan out without the bangs. A shame it wasn’t on the ultimate, but we all saw the scan a loooooong time ago and those who chose to purchase did and those who didn’t didn’t.
Can we all stop constantly complaining about this now?

This is Mattel's premium WWE line, at premium prices... it's a beyond-stupid error that should have been fixed or sorted out before the figures made it into production. Sure, people can choose not to purchase them... but that's missing the point: these are likely the Uso's only UE figures and people want to purchase them. And to then add salt into the wound by making the belts dull - when they originally showed them as being shiny/VAC... it's just a kick in the teeth. People should complain. |

Jimmy has long hair that he brushes back. You think he has no bangs? Every time you see him on TV, he’s got his hair brushed back out of his face. He does have bangs. They’re just just not hanging down whenever you see him. This is me trying to justify why that figure has bangs. But really, his hair is way longer than the bangs on that figure.

Isn't this a premium line and a single fig cost 38 dollars? Yeah, I keep saying that the point I understood of the Ultimate Line is the be the end all be all of that wrestler or at least that look. It's not supposed to be something that would ever need a redo, it's supposed to be that good on the first take to justify the 40 dollar price point. This was supposed to be the ULTIMATE version of Bloodline Usos. The ones that, if you could only buy one pair of Bloodline Usos, these were the ones you got. And they messed them up in a manner that wasn't just glaring, it's something that the collecting community has been telling them was wrong for AGES now. If this had been the first time they messed it up, it would be different. But this is the third time. Three strikes and you're out and all that. The first time was a mistake The second time was too much. The third time, on an Ultimate Edition? You start to think they just don't care. |

I'm pretty sure that they used Jey's picture reference by mistake to make Jimmy more than once. They took a Jey headsculpt & added long hair in the back. It just sucks not to get a true Jimmy at Ultimate Edition prices. I'll get the Ultimate Editions & hope a better Jimmy head scan comes out in the future to make a head swap.

I mean, this could be a thing hypothetically, but considering that wrestling figures are designed to represent what we see on camera on a nightly basis, that would be a weird thing to do. It would be like if someone had a natural hair color that they dyed non-stop and never ever showed on TV, but then when they put out the figure, the figure had their natural hair color instead. [Resisting urge to make a Sami Zayn comment here] Point is that even if Jimmy did have bangs that we don't see it'd be really strange for them to forego everything he's shown on TV, especially everything from when that figure was based on, and add the bangs anyway. |

I see on the bay that he's now gone up to 40 before shipping. If they don't start making proper Jimmy heads, that figure is going to start to become difficult to come by. As it is, getting a set of VAC tag belts to put on the Usos at this point would cost you far more than the actual 2-pack of figures. I just looked on the bay and couldn't even find a single listing for a pair of the Smackdown ones. I think there was one listing that had it in a group and it was about 100 bucks. Them refusing to release the VAC titles again is absurd. It can't be hard. I don't know why they aren't. Is there a reason? have they ever given a reason why they are allergic to releasing the shiny belts again? I really want to know. |

I really want to know.It must be a cost/budget issue, as the new UE Orton has a VAC belt and it's exactly the same as the red Uso one. Dull belts just look SO cheap (and unacceptable!) with UE figures... I'd actually rather them not include the shirts or something if it meant the belts could be VAC'd. |
