I would ask in the Q&A but the simple fact is that no one asked.

What awful service. After taking your money for a year they refund it. Theyβve been sitting on it for a year, gaining interest.
This is quite literally theft.

Ran out of a made to order product?! Complete Failure. Thereβs no defending that. I didnβt order either, but I would be pissed.

I still say this figure makes me angry I have my "Sami Zayn Morality Scale" for buying figures because until Logan tips past the threshold, I can't justify owning one. And that is a really lovely looking figure. We are getting a logan paul figure in a 2pack. Thats good enough for me. Im not gonna spend a bunch of money preordering this over priced figure that may or may not get cancelled.

Wow that's just awful. This is definitely going to hurt mattel creations in future projects. Rightfully so imo. When I ordered the cc jake and rude set I received it in a week but they emailed me a month later saying it just shipped π.

No, this needs said again.
They ran out of stock on a made to order product.
That's not just embarrassing, it's disturbing.
If it is indeed because they took figures from people who ordered them and gave them to influencers instead, yeah, that's theft. You are literally taking something that belongs to someone else. I mean, just because they don't have it yet in their possession... if you steal someone's mail, it's still theft even if it never gets to them, and a pretty big theft at that. I don't see this as being anything that would be punishable, though, probably tons of fine print, but it is extremely scummy. Like, dang.
Just wow. Shame on you Mattel. That's no way to do business.

Yeah thats mattel for you, there are a poorly run and out of touch company. They also lose money almost every quarter. Just expect this kind of crap as the norm.

What's even worse it's the "influencers" buying or gifted stolen product. See chase rvd, elite 1 hardy, strongbow ect. But it's us normal buyers being punished if those get out.

If itβs mass cancellations the only thing I can think of that would make any sense on why Mattel would be issuing refunds on a made to order item is if they lost part of the shipment in transit. I know I read articles last year where they said cargo ships were overloading containers onto them and as a result last years first quarter numbers showed they had already lost more containers overboard than the total number for the whole previous year. And I was surprised at the amount. It was in the thousands. So maybe part of this shipment is at the bottom of the pacific? That is the only thing that I can see making any sense as to why theyβd be so short on this order.
And if itβs only a few cancellations then I would bet they were βlostβ in shipping to the customers. I have received packages that never got past label is created. As a matter of fact that happened to me last week with McFarlane. I had placed two separate orders fora pair of Tim Drake Robin and Hush Superman bundles. Both had labels created the previous Friday. And one order had updates all week from the USPS but the other status never changed from Label created. So on Wednesday night when the one order arrived and it was only the one set. I emailed them overnight. And before they could respond on the following business day my other order was at my door, but the tracking status still said label created.

Why would people support your crowd fund when the .Com you are proud of has faults in its shipping system and customer service being so so. More over keeping the money of someone for 1 year and then finally giving an excuse for not full filling the order is pathetic.

This could explain why ringside never put any up for order like they did with Cody. Still though, mattel should make it right and fire up the the factory to produce more in stead of having us question.

βPossession is nine-tenths of the law.β
Until the product is shipped to you and youβre charged the funds (without a refund), itβs not yours.

I think people are allowed to be upset that a company βcan not fulfillβ a made to order product to those that ordered. It makes zero sense and only causes the ones shipped out already to go up in price on the secondary market, which will prohibit some from being able to get one.

Devilβs advocate (as usual): They have to make above the ordered quantity in case of damages/flawed product. Not saying there should be more to sell, but there should be enough to fulfill the orders placedβ¦ and then some.
But Iβm sure thereβs a logical reasoning behind this happening.
