Wow.
This really feels like they didn't try. Almost like they put it in as an afterthought? Sort of a thing like "We wanna get this figure out there but we don't need to put a ton of effort into it" or something.
It's so frustrating when they do this. It's like a friend of mine said about the upcoming Jimmy Uso UE figure. "Sometimes, it's like the only way you can get the correct figure is to build it yourself".
I fear the same thing is gonna happen with the upcoming Solo. It's gonna be made as originally shown and that's what we get. The difference is that Solo will get another figure that they can potentially correct. Brother Love... likely not.

I'll say it again ... Mattel is getting lazy. I thought about making a thread with examples but ... meh, who has the time. But yeah, I've noticed in countless releases lately that they're cutting corners. It sucks.

Yea I think we all talked about this when they first showed the figure. When he debuted his face was very very red, and it got a lighter shade after awhile. Now why they chose that version I don’t understand. "That version" LOL You should work for Mattel, that's brilliant 🤣 |

The face looked ked way too red as far back as the initial renders. This wave was very disappointing overall and I'm not sure where the budget is actually going with all being low deco figures.

Such a shame. We waited for this figure for so long...You would think an extra amount of effort would be put into getting it just right. I guess not. Sadly Mattel has started going the way of Jakks, they know they have us hooked so they churn out mediocrity and it still sells |

The face looks ok, but there’s no excuse for the shirt, no excuse. He usually wore the jacket open as it was, but only painting the visible part of the shirt is worse than Jakks’ most egregious transgressions. Jakks may have only painted the front, but they at least painted the whole front. Looking at the photo I could already see the white under the ab crunch. Would it really have killed them to cast the torso in red? Maybe someone can cut the suit down the middle? |

Every good business person should block all the criticism they don't like, right? That way nothing changes. I personally love constructive comments, critiques, and feedback and use that to push for changes and improvements constantly. A lot positive things have happened in doing so. But I don’t need to make myself available to rude and disrespectful people, especially on my personal time. I think most “good business people” would concur. |

I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but I do belive some elements are deliberately overlooked with the idea of a future release in mind.
For example, the debut Undertaker has been done to death (pardon the pun), but some might feel pushed into buying another one, to get an accurate Brother Love that comes packaged with him.

Remember that time that Brother Love came out with a white plunger and forgot his flower? It’s based on that episode.
Almost jakks level bad. Jakks would’ve made him 7 ft tall like all of their suited figures.
The shirt is beyond garbage - remember that the next time they go all out on some midget you’ve never heard of.

Just as an aside to the Brother Love badness, D-Lo from this same set has exactly the same calf-overlapping-boot problem as his Elite 52 figure had. Seriously.
