Wondering if there is a way you can tell from pictures, i pay attention to the tape, Mattel is usually a clean cut but not even, repacks I’ve noticed have teeth cuts in their tape, is that accurate? can anyone tell me if they have a new UE with teeth cuts on the tape, love to get some feedback ASAP

which UE?
also some figures have clear rubberbands and/or small plastic pieces that hold things in. that’s one way to tell but I’m not sure if every single figure has one and/or the other or if some don’t have either at all.

So essentially if they've been taken out of their shipping boxes there is no way to guarantee that they haven't been repacked or not. |

I have the ultimate edition AJ here and it's clean cut, but that's the most recent one I have.

As a mostly MOC collector, I have paid attention to this. I have not seen one UE with teeth on tape. Always a straight cut. Same with CC and any exclusives.
And good point from Dynamite above regarding the New Gen exclusives. No tape at all. And if I recall correctly, they weren’t secured at the feet by bands - but someone else may want to confirm.
