100% purple! lol...and maybe my eyes deceive me...but ia the hair a touch lighter? Highlights? Closer to the basic figure at least?  It's great to finally get this belt out, my only gripe would be that it needs to be a lighter shade of purple, more of a lavender. But other than that, I'm glad they are getting this out finally, even if it is with an attire we've gotten 2 times already. If these are re-releases, then why is Bruno different? Wasn't the original release in blue tights? And do Davey Boy and Bruno have new head sculpts, they look different? I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me when I saw the Bruno because the trunks looked green and I know he had light blue on his figures release. But then I read Steve’s post saying they went green this time. Plus Bruno wasn’t in the Legends line he was in the Elite series. And either was that Warrior he was in the WM FB line. So I guess the “Best of Legends” line isn’t just rerelease of the Legends series. Maybe we can get more Bret, Piper, Graham & Muraco this way. (If all are still signed) Yeah. I'm glad AFA cleared it up. I'm also glad it's the green trunks, this way it's feels like a different figure than the previous one released. Yeah, I think this is for all legends, not just ones that were released in the legends line. Though, I'm not a big fan of re-releases for all figures, it really should be for figures that were hard to get the first time around, either because of distribution issues or short runs. And for figures that they can find a way to update it from its original release, like the Warrior coming with the purple WWF title. |

Would love to see the following legends rereleased Magnum T.A (in red trunks) Texas Tornado/Kerry Von Erich (I’d be happy with either version) Hacksaw Jim Duggan (with alternate USA face paint head) Rick Martel AWA/NWA Road Warriors Demolition These would be good. Though, with some, it really wouldn't need to be re-releases of previous figures, they should just get out new figures for them. For the Road Warriors and Demolition, they could release new figures with different face paint rather than releasing the same figures again. Same with the Texas Tornado, he had other looks they could do. Martel I could see them doing again, the first release was in purple which was a popular look for him, and the black jacket that came with the figure really stained the torso, so getting another one of him would be great. But hopefully, if they had Martel signed again, the re-release wouldn't be the only one they got out of him, we definitely need the pale blue attire, pink attire, and strike force attire for figures. Magnum TA would be great, especially if they could release the red trunks look, but he's signed with PowerTown, so I don't see him happening anytime soon. I like your idea with Duggan, rerelease the original legends figure but include the USA flag face painted head sculpt as an extra head. |

I don't care if its a rerelease or a brand new figure from head to toes,I just want to see more Texas Tornados in the Mattel line. He was always one of my favorites as a kid and still is

if planets align and they're able to redo the road warriors/legion of doom and demolition, i'll be 100% content with whatever else they do with the line.
i still regret passing on both teams when i saw them at retail and i'm not going to pay the secondary prices for them

It would have been great if they did the elite 21 htm so they could have added the belt that they were planning to do.
But its so awesome that they are fixing some figures with better paints. New torsos (ue warrior) and pinless arms. If they are going to re release figures then they really should try to make them better if possible. Rick martel without the jacket on in package (staining) would be great one day. That would have been good. But I wonder if they released this one again because the blue jumpsuit turned purple on the retrofest figure. Maybe they fixed that issue on this figure. |

There are a number of guys they could pair with him: Ted DiBiase, King Harley Race, Iron Sheik, One Man Gang, Andre the Giant, and Haku all come to mind. |

The swept back hair is more of an early 97 look for him |

If it wasn't, Target would have every right to turn its back on Mattel after how well they've handled the Legends line to date. It's night and day, the difference between Target's Legends line and Walmart's Ruthless Agression line (or any other Walmart exclusive). One you can preorder or find in store or online, and the other doesn't exist lol |

For those wondering Awesome reveals today Steve!! Can you comment of if the Best of Legends is also Target exclusive and will that wave impact the regular legend waves??? In other words are we still looking at one numerical Legends wave every quarter or will a wave of best of replace one of those waves?? The “Best Of” wave is an additional wave at Target on top of the 4 quarterly waves. |
