Yay more rereleases…🤨
Funnily enough I could actually use a few of these, but still think it’s lame Mattel is just redoing stuff they’ve done. Warrior & Bulldog should have been redone and upgraded to Ultimates, Bruno and HTM will probably be in CC before long (guessing that’s why Bruno is in green).
I’ll probably just grab Warrior for the corrected belt and Legends packaging (assuming it’s close to the original series)

I am hoping we see rereleases of these figures
Hall of Champions Ron Simmons w/title Chase Figure Jim Neidhart w/jacket Superstar Graham Don Muraco Pat Patterson Gerald Brisco
Really, almost all of the 'chase' figures that were sprinkled in for those 20 or so Elite waves would be good for this line (with a few exceptions none were peg warmers at all).
It is pretty clear that Kerry Von Erich/Texas Tornado and Magnum TA are not going to be rereleased by Mattel anytime soon, as they are with Powertown. I think Steve has also confirmed (or virtually confirmed) that Rick Martel is no longer under contract either. Demolition is with the other company that is doing the 'big rubber guys' line, and rumor is that Hawk & Animal are also with Powertown. So I am guessing a lot of those older Legends figures are completely off the table.

It’s a shame Tito Santana is supposedly with Power Town, because that figure desperately needs a True FX upgrade.

I thought store exclusives went to other retailers in Canada (like TRU) Only Legends, but even then the distribution is so bad that they may as well not even exist. I've never seen anything in stores beyond Series 12 Definitely nothing beyond Legends 12. If only TRU would have a better website that actually listed product then empty store shelves wouldn't be that bad. Not that Walmart is any better.

I wonder if they ever do release Brisco and Patterson again, that they will both come with the younger heads that were supposed to be released with the original figures but weren't. For Graham, Muraco, and Simmons, I'd much rather they just release an updated figure with different attire.

Kind of wish they had switched up the colors on Terry Funk's tights, like how Sammartino's green tights varies from the original blue. That Funk is one of my favorite figures, and I would have bought a 2nd version, if only there was anything different about it....

I wish they added the belt to this HTM This is a FANTASTIC question and I'm glad MKSavage asked it on the QA Thread; We were told that the belt was being added as a running change to the PREVIOUS version.... we never saw the "running change". What's the reasoning now that it STILL hasn't been added?

We need more Terry Funk in our lives so this is good news anyway you slice it. Especially with barbwire.

Seems like Andre’s license is being held by multiple figure makers. I’m no expert in all this, but it gives me hope that Kerry isn’t completely off the table just because another company has made him. Guess it depends if there’s “exclusivity” written into these agreements or not.

Guess it depends if there’s “exclusivity” written into these agreements or not. Estates like Andre and Savage have leverage, and can refuse to sign exclusive contracts. It's most likely a take it or leave it offer for lesser names. Either way, it's been 4-5 years since Kerry was listed in the HOF/HOC lineups and a fully painted proto leaked. Either he's no longer available or there is another reason why Mattel aren't making him. Martel never had a legends deal, as far as I know. He one of Mattel's direct contracts early in the line and was signed directly to 2k years back when he appeared there. There's a thread floating around with a pretty realistic list of who is likely available who would be FTIL or hasn't been made in years - it's not a long list.
