Did they leave the blonde streak in his beard flesh tone? It’s not quite flesh tone, but more brown/orange than blond. Not sure why. |

Beautiful looking figure, but I thought Rick Steiner looked corny as hell during this time. Whereas Scott tapped into something that was cool and edgy, Rick looked like your lame uncle trying to act hip and coming off cringey. “If you don’t like, bite me!”… 🤨 This times a thousand. It was so obvious that they were trying to do something new and "cool" with Rick, but it just felt like such a lame ripoff of what was happening with Scott - who was a very organic maniacal heel - that nobody really bought it or even cared. I think Rick was a bit too hokey in many ways during 1999 but he also had moments of brilliance when he was a pure detestable heel, hell bent on injuring opponents. His promos were lacking but he clearly had the edge needed, he just needed more of a steer and to dial back the corniness. |

The annoying thing about all of this - - - is that nobody official EVER said Rick Steiner was being cancelled.
He did something super ignorant at a convention and lots of fans started assuming & saying "OMG he's going to get cancelled." Which in all likelihood drew even MORE attention to what he did and probably increased any possible chance that he WOULD get cancelled;
Seriously, do people want him to be cancelled? If so, keep reminding everyone about what happened. Otherwise accept that he did a stupid, jerky thing, he probably isn't a very nice man in real life, and allow collector's to make up their own minds (buy the figure, or don't buy it).

I’ll be honest, I saw it “reported” on Wfigs.. then of course everyone just reacts without confirming if it was actually true
I saw an article once on FB about it and that’s it
I know it was “all over twitter” but there’s about 7 combined brain cells on twitter so that doesn’t even factor in
Now I’ve read where the accuser has changed their story
So this is a non-issue

I never thought he was getting cancelled, because there was never any real proof other than the accuser and her coworker. But in a time when everyone is recording nobody else seemed to hear or witness it. She said he yelled it at her and then she went back and yelled it again. Yet there was nothing picked up on fan cameras at the tables and nobody else seen or heard it? So there’s no way he could (or should) be cancelled over an allegation. I am not saying it didn’t happen but there was no evidence to support that it did. But that is all I am going to comment on the subject. Anything else about the allegations let’s keep it to personal messaging and out of the thread. |

If you mean on here and by that one poster that everyone ignored, I wouldn't go by that. I googled it and didn't find anything that states she changed her story. The facts are that Gisele publicly accused Rick, multiple people backed it up, WrestleCon banned him (I'm assuming they researched the incident), and Rick Steiner has been quiet about it. If I was accused of something that could financially impact my career, I would definitely speak out about it. They literally just asked Bron on 6/16 about it and his response was “Yeah, you know, I appreciate the question,” Breakker said. “I can’t speak for my father, but that’s not a reflection of me and who I am and what I’m about.” wrestlingjunkie.usatoday.com/2023/06/16/exclusive-bron-breakker-on-father-rick-steiner-alleged-transphobic-wrestlecon-comments/So that would be a really weird response if Rick was innocent.
