To me it looks like the butterfly joints cause the torso to be so huge. Instead of taking time to make a torso that can handle the joint mechanism they just made this and went meh, people will buy it.

I truly do not understand why Mattel changed his HOC torso to the correct tone, only to switch it back. Now whoever designed this figure, determined that this torso was the best option, even after seeing a sample on those skinny legs?
This line has so many things going for it, and we have an ally in AFA, but some design choices are really awful.
Imagine this figure with a simple skintone change, and a SCSA torso.

The legs used on the Mr Perfect figures are far too long. The very good head scans on his recent figures have been ruined by the scale of the figure which is way too tall. I compared him recently side by side to a DDP figure and his retrofest figure is actually a little bit taller which is insane considering DDP is like 6'6.
You sometimes wonder are they doing it on purpose to justify a re-release of a better version. I mean its amazing how off the mark they are with some things.
As for Eddie, I have the original Legends so im happy with that. Im not keen on some of the Ultimates, see them as a bit of waste of money to be honest. If you have the elites, I think you have all the articulation you need. I hate the toe articulation on the ultimates.

This Eddie Guerrero has definitely been a big miss. Unfortunate but hopefully this leads to better figures down the line.

If they don't have/can't make the correct torso, then I'd rather have the figure with a good torso and no butterfly-joints. |

We will be having this same conversation in a few months time about this upcoming Brock figure that is as big as a house but the head and boots look like they belong to a skinny teenager, man all I wanted was a classic Brock and Eddie in UE form and now we will never get proper versions of them in these attires

Brock was leaner back in 2000s and has a small waist as compared to his current physique. |
