This is figure related and informational curiosity as well, but I'm always expanding my custom fig belt collection. Eventually I'd like to replace all the MATTEL belts with quality custom stuff. Additionally, sometimes I like to display figs in some "what if...?" situations, with belts they may not have had at particular times in their careers...but I like to keep it as era/timeline accurate as I can when doing so.
Obviously major changes to belts like transitioning from the Winged Eagle to the Big Eagle are easy to pinpoint, but there is a lot of history in terms of little tweaks to designs
Is there anywhere (if not maybe we could start it) with an as close to an exhaustive list of belts/holders/timeframe as variations were made?
Winged Eagle for example: When was it dual plated vs all gold? Who held it dual plated? Hogan had a custom champion plate, etc..
The classic WWF tag belts are an even better example, dual plated, all gold, the bulldog titles, different color globes, etc.
Classic IC: Red logo, black logo, gold logo, etc
