I was more an Archie Bunker guy but I watched The Jeffersons quite a bit growing up.
Bunker & Jefferson is some of the best comedy you can find...Unfortunately its not comedy you can make these days.

This is the most tired statement. “Can’t make that now a days!” Shows like South Park and Its Always Sunny have pushed the envelope more than any show in the 80s or 90s ever could. |

You're comparing apples to oranges. Shows like All in the Family & The Jeffersons were on CBS for millions of viewers...South Park & Its Always Sunny are on Comedy Central & FX and are lucky to garner quarter of million in viewers. Put either show on network TV during the fall and see how long it lasts. |
