I’ve got two on preorder from earlier this year. The order says it will be here 8/2. I can’t wait for 8/2 to come and go and then 8/3 get an email it is delayed and then to never show. my rey shows 8/3 and it won’t let me change my payment method anymore so I have hope I can change payment on both but one is $0 dollars that everyone got and the other is $32.97 so who knows. My Walmart order history is almost 100% canceled or delays that will never get here. I’m Charlie Brown to Walmart’s Lucy holding a football. |

Finally found Eddie and Rey in Louisiana. Orange boots Eddie but better than nothing I suppose.

Welp, my Eddie and Rey were cancelled this morning, but I’m not bothered as much. I ended up hitting target and finding all 5 of Legends 19. Saved 25 with circle and red card

Welp, my Eddie and Rey were cancelled this morning, but I’m not bothered as much. I ended up hitting target and finding all 5 of Legends 19. Saved 25 with circle and red card I’m not being dramatic but has anyone on this board that has preordered from Walmart a wwe Mattel exclusive gotten it? I ordered the random could-be-wave-one-or-two ruthless aggression figures and got those but everything else I’ve ever ordered has been canceled or delayed and never shipped. |

I'm thinking that Wal Mart only orders a certain amount of figures to be distributed amongst their stores. Higher volume stores get more cases. The reason Target exclusives are so easy to come by is because they get full cases of single figures for the specific purpose of fulfilling online orders. How has that worked out for Target though? All of their figures get clearanced out, and Wal Mart sells all of their exclusives. Your store might not ever get them in, but somebody is out there buying them, if only for their perceived scarcity. Profit over everything.

Just got email from Walmart new shipping day for Ultimate Eddie is now 9/19 I broke down and hit the bay. So to recap: I get to (yes totally my choice I know) pay double I already despise Walmart for a whole host of reasons that have nothing to do with my action figures, but now I despise them a little more and will bash them online every chance I get. I will no longer be checking my stores or the app, which seems to defeat the purpose of wanting exclusives to drive in store or in app traffic. Meanwhile my GI Joe classified and marvel figures will be delivered on time and good to go. I’m glad this deal with Walmart pays Mattel’s bills and let’s them keep cranking out an awesome variety of selection of WWE figures but this seems like a flawed system. |

Man we gotta do what we gotta do. For some it's just easier to pay the premium and get it out of the way. No shame in that if you can afford it. I made the same call with RVD because the $17 markup was better than going to God knows how many Wal Marts looking for the thing or waiting for them to cancel my preorder 2 months after they have already been cleared from the shelves. |
