Yeah, a few points; * Let's not go giving Walmart any gold medals for putting 6 months worth of product out over the course of one week; Show me a 6 month stretch of consistently rotated & stocked shelves & I'll be a little more impressed.... Target seems to have figured this out. * My area still hasn't seen much of anything.... my stores seem to be flooded with new BASICS. Yipee. I am beyond overjoyed though that I did find an RA Bischoff. * As others have pointed out, these are coming in on shippers from Mattel. When they're gone, they're gone. By no means has Walmart's horrendous distribution system been fixed.... in a month we'll all be complaining again "where are all the Elites? Remember July?" The BRIGHT spot in all these great pics I'm seeing on my Facebook feed with full Walmart shelves - at least SOMEONE seems to be hearing us and making an attempt to do better. Thank you, to whoever is trying to get these toys into the stores. not to mention, many of us preordered the two new Ultimates and they're stocking shelves with no hint of shipping preorders This has to BY FAR be the most annoying aspect of toy collecting. Stores not honoring exclusive preorders before sending all of the available stock out to stock on shelves. I see frustration in every community for every single line I keep up with. I honestly rather have a fool-proof online inventory system that actually keeps track of preordered items, rather than have a bonus endcap stocked full of figures. I rather know that I am getting the things I ordered instead of having a physical store that I have to go out and hunt in. |

Still not a  ing thing at my three closest Walmarts but junkies passed out in the aisles and fistfights between the fine upstanding citizens in my area. Oh, and ripped open boxes with figures stolen. |

Excerpt then scalpers and bots would buy up a lot of figures you'd really want, and you might not be able to get them...

I feel like its good and bad. Good that a lot of stuff it out there to find, but bad because it's a lot of money at one time. It hasn't happened in my area, but seeing posts on FB suggest the FOMO is real and folks are doing desperate things just to get what they want. Not that thing's like that doesn't happen, just seems like there is an influx of it going on. It's taking a lot of the fun out of the game for many people.
Just glad the out of the 6 Walmarts I been to 3 had the display and I was able to aqquire the most of the ones I wanted. By the way, That Summer Slam Hogan is slowly becoming one of my favorite figures of recent times! Likewise the chase version of The Boogeyman!

Speaking for myself, other than Legends series, I usually only buy 1-2 elites per month, along with ultimates depending on who they are. This is a massive jump in the budget. |
