The new ECW was underrated tbh I really enjoyed it as well. 2006 was one of my favorite years in wrestling. One Night Stand 2006 is one of my favorite PPV’s of all time. I was 14 years old and still remember how excited I was when my mom told me I could order it. Yep it was a great year tbh and that PPV was good stuff |

I really got hooked on WCW in 1991 and I loved it till Hogan showed up. 96 & 97 were incredible stuff. In 92 I attended my 1st WCW event and it blew away the wwf one I went to a fews weeks before. Comparing Sting vs Rude and Steiners vs Arn & Eaton against Undertaker vs Sid and Nasty Boys vs Slaughter & Duggan wasn’t even fair.
Starting in fall 96 I started going to ECW which seemed to come every 2 to 3 months. Those live events were some of the most fun I’ve ever had attending a wrestling show

Post Hogan signing WCW doesn’t really do much for me outside their cruiserweight division and a few of their mid card. Much prefer ECWs main event scene with Taz, Sabu, Douglas etc. Had WCW not brought in Hogan and friends and been less “The Old Stars Of WWF!” I might have enjoyed it a lot more.

WCW. from mid 1996 to late 1999 it was must see cant miss TV. ECW was never that for me but I did enjoy what I seen going on there.....

Both are great. I guess I would go with WCW just because it was more... Watchable. ECW was incredible but the production value was less than a hot lunch. That said, I much prefer ECWs style of wrestling over WCW.

i really can’t choose between the two, so vastly different, both with their major highs and lows.
as fans we’re all lucky we got to experience both
