All due respect, but saying the "bulk of the audience doesn't buy Becky as a star" is completely divorced from reality. We'll see RE: Trish and Lita. Love them both, they arguably deserved to be, but they. were never presented as being on the same level of the company's main stars at the time and therefore aren't treated as such now. Becky has been presented as such since mid-late 2018, and that will likely influence how she's talked about in the future. Brother the all female PPV was such a monumental flop they never dared entertain it again. Verifiably women’s wrestling is a small niche within a niche. It’s cool if you like it. It has its place. But pretending any female wrestler is anywhere near one of the biggest stars is so ridiculously disingenuous it’s laughable. Again, you are taking Becky Lynch and equating her with female wrestling as a whole. By literally any metric, the company and the audience have treated her as one of the biggest stars on the WWE roster over the last 5 years, admittedly (and IMO sadly but that's a whole different conversation) much bigger than the rest of the women's division combined. |

It means she’s out of place in a set amongst the biggest stars in wrestling history. It’d be like a football icons 4 pack including Maradona, Pele, Messi and some random woman. Except we're circling back to the fact that she isn't a "random woman". She's the biggest female star, and in the top 2-3 biggest stars in current wrestling. Again, not liking her is fine, feeling she doesn't deserve the push she's getting or whatever is fine as that's subjective, pretending she's not a major wrestling star is willfully ignoring reality. OK, so why do you keep regurgitating this line about her being the "biggest female star", when it's clearly not true? Who is a 13/14 time champion? Who were the first women to compete in a HIAC match? Who is in The Mandalorian? Who was chosen by ESPN mag, to be in their body issue? None of the answers to these questions, include the words 'Becky Lynch'. Anyway, back to moaning about no Xyon Quinn fig, still... |

I hope that everyone saw at least a couple of new figures or sets that they like so far.
My personal favorite has got to be the HULKAMANIA 40th anniversary set.
But there were a lot of other nice things shown too.

(Though I think Becky has consistently been more over than Charlotte but that's another topic) |
