I'm glad some of you are happy but I think this might be one of the worst Comic Cons in recent memory.
No Phyton Power or Wrestlemania 8 Hogan
The Steiner Brothers are nowhere to be found and it looks like we may not even get them
Flair nowhere to be found
Macho Man now out of of the line for perhaps forever
Monday Night War Line is resorting to fake Diesel for the 2nd wave, they don't have anyone else

Flair, macho and steiners are out of Mattel’s control but everything else is dope as hell. 2023 and we have the entire 1996 debut outsiders/hogan!?!? They might have small inaccuracies here and there but overall are Awesome! Along with the other stuff shown and stuff in the pipeline. Great time to be a fan! |

Yeah, not impressed. I would be happy if that UE RR had the UE 8 HH torso but we all know that will not happen… just like his UE14 release.
The SSCC exclusive is cool, I might get it when it’s on clearance.

Agreed, but maybe I'm just taking it more personally because of Macho and the fact that I actually collect elites now. I definitely saw things I want, I'd be lying if I said otherwise, but a lot of it was Walmart-related like MNW series 1 and some of their ultimates, so that's not fun even though it should be. Ditto with Superstars and they're now over-running the line with obscure Hogan looks. Things I came into the week really wanting like Angle and Bischoff are now more resigned, "yeah…I guess I still need them," than things I'm excited about. Maybe I'm just seeing how the other half lives now but this was a big mixed bag for me, at best. Also haven't heard anyone say this and maybe it will only truly be once a year, but kinda disappointed that we haven't even got a hint about DM RSC Wave 2.

I probably saw the same amount of stuff this year that I want to buy as I did last year.
(Also, we go through this literally every year. And literally every year they slip a few more reveals in over Friday and Saturday. I see no reason to doubt this year will be the same yet.)

A lot of cool stuff but I will be saving money compared to previous years. But SDCC isn’t over so who knows what else we’ll see.
It’s actually a breath of fresh air for me not feeling overwhelmed with all the reveals. Only figures I’ll have to worry about finding will be the MNW figures, but even then I’m cherry picking from the line. I don’t have to worry about Target and mainline releases as those are easy to get.
Saw a lot of FTITL figures so happy for all those that thrive on those. Overall, good showing. I don’t have to want every figure for SDCC to be a success
