Seeing one sold on $225 on ebay. SMH now I really regret opening it lol. In all seriousness, if I didn't have to worry about a trip I'm going on, I'd probably sell off the Becky and possibly Hogan to make back my money on this set (I'd keep the green belt though) but I'll just have to wait and see what happens when I get back in September. I recovered the box from my pile of recycling, but the plastic sleeve is long gone š
I knew it was going to go for $250 soon. And I passed on the set when I saw it last week š¤¦āāļø 1-2 sold for that price.. and I highly doubt it was real. Nobody w/ any sense would spend that type of $$ on that. This set will be back out again shortly.

People paying $250 for this BS set but $400 was too much for the crowdfundā¦ FOMO and speculation. Personally: I wouldn't pay anywhere near that for this set. Hell, I only pulled the trigger because I had $38 in Target credit to use so it was a no brainer.

People paying $250 for this BS set but $400 was too much for the crowdfundā¦ I see what you mean, but there's only a handful or so of these selling, we had 4k people back the fund. So it's not out the realm that a couple people who backed it bought it š

destino coldblooded while I was slightly tongue in cheek in my post, I notice there is a portion of the collector base, albeit small, that will post lots for sale well over $400, people steadily paying $250+ for new AEW chases, buying and selling Ultimate Cody for $150+ and everything in between. Folks arenāt just paying those prices but thereās people who will defend the pricing and call them ābig boy purchasesā and all that. Basically Iām just saying that Nitro arena was badass and it shouldāve been backed. I canāt leave the memories alone

Yeah you can go f yourself lol

One week it's "Check out this big boy purchase." Two weeks later the same person is posting "Need to pay rent. Whole collection for sell (sic) immediately. PRICES FIRM." It's exhausting to watch.

This in particular reminds me of the Beanie Baby boom. Who do these people think they could sell them to -- or that they would "appreciate" or keep their value -- that they're paying this much for a different box.
I bet most of these go into storage, are sold, or get replaced in people's display collections over time -- and don't justify the price

This was an amazing set with potentially 2-5 figures INCLUDED and people did nothing but gripe about the price-point..... Honest to God, I almost never pay above retail for any figure.... and almost never more than $60 for "special" figures (SDCC, Coliseum Collection stuff, etc). And I was a day-one backer on the Nitro set because I felt it was WORTH IT.

I know everyone had their own reasons for not backing and even tho $400 is a lot, it seems like no one bats an eye when someone sells one single figure at close to half that price. Or a few figures for close to that price

I bet this ends up being a huge anomaly instead of the norm. No way Target or Mattel planned on putting this 4 pack out during the middle of the summer 9 months before the actual 40th WM. This comment aged well

Pre-ordered it. I hate checking my god awful Targets/WalMarts for figures anymore.
Iāll probably sell the Hogan off when it comes in. Zero interest in him.
