I'm puzzled why Mattel didn't announce a new MTO figure at SDCC? Are they going to do more?
You know, it kinda seems they had more to show but couldn't either because stuff wasn't finished or guys were canceled.
I don't remember Mattel SDCC ending on the 1st day.

Earlier this year Steve said they had two spots saved for Mattel Creation Ultimates. I’m surprised we didn’t at least find out what one of those was. Hopefully they haven’t decided against it. Even though with all that said, I’m still waiting on my MC Cody from last year.

Earlier this year Steve said they had two spots saved for Mattel Creation Ultimates. I’m surprised we didn’t at least find out what one of those was. Hopefully they haven’t decided against it. Even though with all that said, I’m still waiting on my MC Cody from last year. The way I interpreted what he said, and I could be wrong, is that they had two spots that they could use if something came up that "merited" striking while the iron was hot. IE: Cody's debut, Logan being way better and having a way bigger role than people expected , etc. In other words, not a set amount of them a year, but rather slots ready if/when needed. But again, I could have interpreted it wrong. |

What about a WrestleMania main eventer. We got bret but an hbk 12, 20 or 26 or undertaker 13, 24,26 or maybe a main eventer ftil ultimate like sid 8 or 13 or orndorff 1 or miz 27, McIntyre 35 or heck even a Batista wm 21 or edge 24. Triple h 18, 20, 22 or 25. Something is better than nothing.

Because nothing has happened this year that is worthy enough to get an ultimate figure into production immediately. Maybe if the Uso guy beats Roman they do him. But there hasn’t been an epic moment, surprise debut, big return, etc that I can think of in 2023.

They can immediately do an open preorder and get it into production. But I think if it gets towards the end of the year and nothing is worthy then they can use those spots for something else. |
