Why is this figure so expensive? Is it because of The Bloodline story, or this particular attire? I was looking at it earlier because he wore a similar attire for SummerSlam and I thought I'd finally pull the trigger but it's going for 50-100 everywhere.

Definitely because of the popularity of the Bloodline storyline and the Uso's popularity/stock have escalated. On top of that, there is a lag/production turnaround for Mattel to catch up with things that take off (or they release figures after characters cool off). There were large gaps for Uso elites. The focus really isn't on tag teams that much, but Mattel have course corrected and are def focusing on the Usos now (elites and UEs). I prefer matching Usos so I wasn't really excited over E90 Jey, but I guess it's a cool figure if people want him for his single run while Jimmy was out. |

It’s a figure of “Main Event” Jey Uso. Plus it’s no longer in production.
You’re currently looking for it a year later because of his popularity. Think you answered your own question.

I bought it for £18. Then sold for £100 last month - used the money to buy the ue version.
Never had so many people make me offers before either.

I looked this up on eBay yesterday after reading this thread. I saw quite a few going for 50-60. That doesn't seem too bad -- but I guess it's a recent set, and they've been producing a lot of figs recently it seems in each wave. But I still think it's a fair price for a figure 1 year old

It’s crazy how few Usos figures there are. They were tag champs for well over a year, the Bloodline hype has been going on for a minimum of a year, the Bloodline itself has been going for years. The Usos should be getting 2 elites in the mainline per year.
We still don’t have matching Bloodline Usos in the main Elite line. We got Main Event Jey in white and we got Jimmy in black. The matching Bloodline Usos tag team figures are in Top Picks and SummerSlam. That makes no sense. A tag team in matching gear should not be split up like that. They should be in the same line, preferably the same series. They split up Kofi snd Big E with the Woods funeral attire the same way. And now they’ve got Jimmy in a line that should be very easy to find and the matching Jey is in a BAF line which is always much harder to find. I have only seen one BAF series at my local stores and it was only half of it. And it was the Dominic line and I found it a month ago.

I bought mine and immediately repainted him to black and red. Never had any idea he'd go for this much. I regret it especially now that my UE figures are in the mail but back when that figure came out the idea of an UE 2-Pack for them hadn't even been suggested yet.
It is what it is.
