Roddy Piper vs The Ultimate Warrior

Don’t you think this is an intriguing matchup? You have Piper who, in his WWF years was very rarely pinned and quite an aggressive and tough opponent even though his offence wasn’t too heavy (eyepokes, chops, jabs, ear-claps, etc), he was able to fit into a main event if needed and was a popular big name.
Then there is Warrior who, in his WWF years also was very rarely pinned, was tough and aggressive and could also fit into a main event. The difference here is his stiff turbocharged powerhouse fighting style.
So I’m curious, without shenanigans or a screwy count-out or finish, how would you guys book a match between them? In kayfabe, this looks like a clash of styles, but on paper surely Warrior would just run through Piper like he would most opponents. Piper could slow Warrior down with his unpredictable brawling skills and low blows, but it doesn’t seem like it would be enough to put him away. He has the sleeperhold, but Warrior would likely just ‘hulk up’ on the third arm drop, same for a piledriver, he would most likely just pop back up. Meanwhile, after several stiff clotheslines, body slams and shoulder tackles, when it comes to finishing off Piper, a gorilla press followed by a splash just wouldn’t be enough to keep him down, especially after wasting time having to roll him over to pin him.
So how would you finish this? Hypothetically, lets say they’re in their primes and in the semi main event at a Wrestlemania. So they are just wrestling for pride, no grudges, both tweeners.
Personally, after a lot of thought I would go with a valiant effort from Piper wearing down Warrior with everything in his arsenal but Warrior weathers it and eventually just spams his big splash one after the other before getting the clean pin without even hooking a leg. After the match they shake, hug and celebrate together.
