I, on the other hand, knowingly chose to not pre-order Harley. I wanted the figure, for sure, but I didn't want it at a "pay more than retail" level.
I've been stumbling across nearly full sets of GH2 for about a month now at the different Wal-Marts along my commute, and Harley (along with Seth) is almost always missing.
Persistence pays off, though.
This morning I popped into a regular stop I hit 2x a week, to another fresh restock.
I almost walked away, thinking Harley eluded me again, until I saw him on shelf over, sitting in plain view alongside some other stuff.
Honestly, that's one of the best feelings - taking on the hunt for something you could totally live without but would still like to find, and coming across it the old fashioned way.
Great start to the day.

EE canceled my preorder of Harley Race. That's the second WWE preorder they canceled on me in the last 2 months. They're becoming the new Walmart.com

I think a lot of people missed the point of my original post. To those saying I should have preordered, the point was that I did, about three months ago, and it was cancelled. I thought the fact that Mattel rereleased a figure that was impossible to find the first time, I preordered so I'd get it this time, and it was still cancelled was kind of a funny story, which is why I made the post. I guess others don't have the same sense of humor about it. If I find it I'll pick it up, but I don't want it so badly that I'm going to go crazy trying to get it. It is an action figure. If I don't get this one I won't lose any sleep over it.
Probably because of the thread title. You expect people to actually read your post??

Troubling. Pretty much everyone had their Jacy's cancelled and then now the Harley's are gone too. I don't know what is going on, if they are selling product they have no guaranteed stock for, but it's a bad look. |

just saying theres better sites to get figures than one that never follows through EE used to be pretty damn good. Not sure what happened, but I've ordered from them a lot in the past. Their only big flaw, as far as I'm concerned, is that they are painfully slow with shipping. Most of the time your order will be "processing" for up to 2 weeks. But up until recently I don't think they've ever canceled an order on me. I'd just like to know the reasoning behind it. |

Like, maybe if Ringside is sold out, or if it's going to be a tough figure to find (like Harley Race and some Ultimates). Otherwise 99% of what I order from them is MOTU figures. |
