What do you think is the worst choice for a cover athlete? Obviously guys like Tiger Woods & Tony Hawk are exempt since it's their game. And Derek Jeter is exempt because that would be the answer of most people. I will say Shaq for NBA 2K7 and Carmelo Anthony for NBA 2005. 05 wasn't really the time for Melo to be on the cover as he was way too early into his pro career and he wasn't as popular at the time. And with 2K7, there was no reason to have Shaq on the cover again. With baseball, Jeter is very marketable. Shaq really isn't that marketable anymore for basketball, so there was no reason to have him on the cover for two straight years.

vince young. so many others deserved it way more than him like L.T., steven jackson, drew brees, shawne merriman, peyton manning, marvin harrison, torry holt, champ bailey, tiki barber, and marc bulger all deserved it way more than vince young.

I'll say Jared Zabransky for NCAA Football 2008. He wasn't even drafted, most people have no idea who he is, and Boise State just isn't a big enough school to be having a cover athlete on a video game. Yes, fresh off of his steroids suspension - sounds like a great thing to promote. Retired NFL players on the cover? Erm... No. |

Yeah I agree I thought Torry Holt, L.T or Champ should have gotten it liek come on. LT dominated the season and got MVP. Who cares if he would have been on 2 games running. Marshall Faulk did. |
