Mattel color issues (GOLD edition)

I really don't know how these things keep happening... I mean, how on earth is Razor's waistcoat green on the packaging as well? What's going on? 🤷‍♂️

I hate that wmx 2 pack. Has the same appeal as basics to me for some reason. Happy for anyone who likes it but i really dont like it

I don’t think Bill is the only designer at Mattel so it’s unfair to assume it’s his fault although you’d think that someone high up would have signed this and Cody off?

On the box that’s greenish for sure, but that vest looks 100% gold to me. Idk.

Mattel has problems with colors, particularly gold. I remember the first Sin Cara being almost a dull color, then corrected to the right shade of gold. Eddie's boots have either been dull, orange or some other random color. I think they got a nice gold color with the Hall of Fame figure. Then it wasn't used again. Goldust for whatever reason also had a cheap dull color color instead of a nice deep gold. I think it's more than likely a cost cutting measure. It really sucks when it's a figure you really anticipate and you only have one go at it. Just look at these.
