I don't know if we're seeing gold or green, but I do know that in the past few years, Mattel does the box art AFTER the figure is made and matches the face on the box to the figure, and in this case might have made Razor's vest color on the box match whatever shade of color we'll get with the figure. Just go look at most any figure in the past few years. Look at the face on the box. You might say, "That looks a little weird. Doesn't look 100% like him or her. Sort of looks ... edited," and then go look at the figure and you'll be like ... doesn't look 100% like him or her either but it is a spot on match for the box art.
Well played, Mattel.

I really don't know how these things keep happening... I mean, how on earth is Razor's waistcoat green on the packaging as well? What's going on? 🤷♂️ This genuinely made me lol

It’s like that blue or black dress thing which was ‘viral’ about 20 years or so ago

ppl like me that pre-ordered Elite 15 Sin Cara, got the "mustard" version. Mattel did the right thing and did a running change making the robe and boots the correct gold. They did not do the right thing with the Cody figure unfortunately. and i think the Razor wasn't a factory thing, but an actual design choice. Think they were getting too cute on that one. Razor figures have some of the most issues. That first defining moments wasn't very purple. The green Razor that has lime green parts for some reason with the tiny shoulders and tiny Sheamus body. The disrespect

In their defense, they put out SO many figures a year. But it does seem for a set like this that commemorates an event, there should be better procedures in place to make sure the photos match. Alternatively - maybe they thought this was the best photo for the box and there wasn't a promo shot of WMX that fit with his gear, so they used this. Who knows. They photoshop gear on the packaging, that render shot was not taken in the WM10 gear They once photoshopped Shawn’s Wrestlemania 14 tights and hair onto a render taken in 2008

I think that they don't use the proper "gold" color that we'd like to see that accurately depicts the attires because of the cost of that particular gold color (just my guess, but real gold paint usually costs more than other colors). It seems like they only use the correct shiny/glittery gold in the trim of attires & smaller areas as opposed to larger areas. See the Elite 103 Bobby Lashley that uses a black/Pittsburgh Steeler "gold" colored tights. If you notice, real gold is used for the trim & belt. The rest of the larger area that is supposed to be real gold (shiny/glittery), is covered by the Pittsburgh Steeler yellow "gold" color. His real tights worn were black & the real gold color, not the yellow/gold color that the figure uses. Besides the yellow gold that is commonly used for figures, that puke green or mustard yellow is also used in place of real gold. I believe the real gold color costs more for Mattel to use, so they use these other "gold" colors to replace real gold instead. They do seem to use real gold in the trim & smaller areas like boots, etc. even they have used real gold before like with Goldust & the Elite 57 Seth Rollins, etc. Unfortunately, using these other "gold" options are making otherwise cool looking figures, look less appealing. It's bad enough that Mattel keeps making Jimmy Uso with Jey Uso face scans, but please give us The Gold!

If every shade of gold is too expensive to use, how about not making figures in gold attire?
If they really wanted to use a gold attire and offset the cost a bit, they could do a made-to-order offering on Creations...

I seriously think everyone is over-reacting about the Hollywood Hogan. It looks great to me.

The Ue Cody’s best quality was the headscans. Torso Choice was weird and we already know about the tights

(looks good to me too) The designs on the tights are way too bright compared to what he wore in real life. I don't think it's as bad as a figure that doesn't even have the right color.

I don't think it's as bad as a figure that doesn't even have the right color. It's a great figure, but also a bummer for those of us that have been asking for that attire. It's more than likely a one and done, unless we get an UE. It's missing detail on the bandana, white trims on kneepads and the lighting bolts are way too exaggerated. I don't understand because they got the lightning bolts right with the first nWo Hollywood Hogan (dark blue shading outline and thin bolts.) To also top it off, you have to buy this figure in a three pack too. I mainly just want this Hogan, but now I'm a bit unsure. I'll give them this, the boot detail is impeccable.
