If SummerSlam 1993 concluded with Lex being showered by red, white and blue balloons and having the WWF title around his waist, how do you envision the main event path unfolding leading up to WrestleMania the following year?
What exactly happens with Bret or even Yokozuna afterwards? Does Lex still feud with Ludvig Borga? Who wins the Royal Rumble? What ends up being the main event match at WrestleMania X?

I guess it depends on how well Lex does with the title after Summer Slam. If he does well, and business picks up, then I can see Vince keeping the belt on him. However, if business does what it did at the time, then I think they eventually go with Bret. Possibly the same thing happens at the Rumble, except it's Yoko and Bret being eliminated together. Yoko faces Lex 1st at WM10 with Bret facing Owen. Then Bret faces the winner of the Yoko/Lex match. Depending on what they want to do with Lex after WM10 would determine the last match with Bret. If they were thinking of turning Lex heel, then Lex could beat Yoko then drop the belt to Bret, after that he turns heel due to the loss. If they want to keep Lex a babyface after WM10, then Yoko can beat Lex in the first match (like how it was), and then drop the belt to Bret in the last match (like how it was).

I would like to think that Bret would still take the title off him at WrestleMania.

A match with Borga at the Rumble seems likely as Vince wouldnt past that up. Evil foreigner vs All-American babyface champ
Have Bret win the Rumble and win the belt at Mania. Turn Lex heel the following night on Raw

I really don't see that same scenario playing out with Bret and Yoko. I mean it's hard to see a double elimination between those 2 and if they could pull it off Yoko probably looks terrible not being able to eliminate Bret. Luger/Bret seemed to be a unique situation between just those 2.

Luger/Bret seemed to be a unique situation between just those 2. I picture it more like how HBK eliminated Vader & Yoko in the 1996 Rumble. After Yokozuna eliminates the 28th guy, Bret runs at Yokozuna to eliminate him like HBK did, but Yoko's weight and strength brings them both over the ropes and they land on the ground at the same time. If they don't go that route, the only way I see Bret/Luger facing off at WM10 is if they were going to turn Luger heel. No way Vince is going to do the face/face match with them two.

Turn Lex heel the following night on Raw Bingo. lex comes out the next night to congratulate Bret and waffles him with the bionic forearm. Cornette is attached as his manager and we are off to the races.

The problem with Lex turning heel around that time is the fact that Bret was already tangled up with Owen and their heated sibling rivalry storyline would carry on through the remainder of the year.
As much as I wish Lex could have had a more meaningful WWF existence after WrestleMania X, I would never exchange it for the run Owen had in 1994 with Bret. That will forever be one of my favorite feuds of all-time.
Sorry, Lex. 😢

A very dark period until Bret took the title off of him and restored its prestige.

Lex acts as the equalizer against Anvil after Davey gets flattened. Next night on Raw Bret asks Lex out to thank him and then he nails Bret. Luger beats Bret at Survivors maybe?
