Kayfabe era, his characters decision making really was quite peculiar and made me wonder what the hell he was thinking.
First the obvious Demolition to PoP turn. Turning on the tag champs is one thing but a typical heel turn in thus situation would be during a tag title match where he would leave with the new champs PoP and not during a Survivor Series match. Never ends up leading PoP to the titles.
Next up is disbanding PoP for the Orient Express. I mean the Orient Express were fine workers but you'd never make that switch in the era of the big man. Orient Express really got jobbed out quickly never really sniffing the titles.
If you really want to disband the PoP why wouldn't he simply continue managing one or both as singles wrestlers? Instead he's left managing a JTTS tag team.
