Love all the posts defending the upcharge of the Bray figure but they are the same people that will say a guy buying it from Target or Walmart and charging $32 on ebay is the absolute worst humanity has to offer.

Yes. Buying a $22 figure at retail… not early, not ordering in bulk from Mattel… just clearing the shelves and selling it for a $10 mark-up plus shipping. Not even close to the same. Nice attempt at an analogy though.

Yes. Buying a $22 figure at retail… not early, not ordering in bulk from Mattel… just clearing the shelves and selling it for a $10 mark-up plus shipping. Not even close to the same. Nice attempt at an analogy though. RSC put the Target 4 Horseman pack up for $100 when it was on clearance for $10-$25. They've sold other secondary items in the past. E100 Andre is listed at $28 (because he sells) and his figure has been in retail for months. To be clear, I get RSC is a business and don't have any problems with them charging more. I just find it funny that people are spending this much time trying to think of excuses when it's clear they're charging more since Bray died and his figures are in higher demand. On the flip side, I also find it funny that people are going to stop doing business with them over charging $2 more. Is it in bad taste? Maybe, but definitely shouldn't be something to push someone over the edge and never buy from them again.

Nice attempt at an analogy though. It's actually the exact same thing. The guy buying at target is actually making even less profit too. Now try to defend ringside restocking figures that have been at retail for months and charging over retail price.

I think this works both ways... what about all these people suddenly buying a figure of someone, just because they've died? (you didn't want them before?). That UE12 figure and the Funhouse exclusive Bray had been on RSC forever... suddenly, they both sell out within hours. Yet these people are probably the same ones wondering why RSC are charging a couple of bucks extra for a new Bray figure...

Yet these people are probably the same ones wondering why RSC are charging a couple of bucks extra for a new Bray figure... for me it was “buy it cheap while I can” otherwise I’m not spending $100 for a Bray/Fiend figure I don’t think people intentionally wait until someone dies, they wait because they want to spend that money elsewhere instead. then when someone does die they try to get what they can/want before the inevitable price increases also, who’s to say RSC wouldn’t have charged that price regardless? it would’ve been at least been close to that price anyway, plus it’s his first elite figure out since his return

If Ringside sold Bray for lower or the same as others, what would stop people from just buying it and selling it for more on ebay or FB groups?
It's actually a form of scalper protection.
Ringside pays a premium to get figures MONTHS before every other retailer. You then pay a premium on those figures if you want to get them sooner than everyone else, and/or not hunt stores. Nobody complains when they sell elites for $5.99 clearly taking a loss on every one of them.
They weren't charging $60 for the Bray
They're charging $32.99 for Elite 105 Dominik Mysterio...is that "disgusting" too?
People need to get a reality check.

"A form of scalper protection" lmfao if Ringside was selling Bray for $19.99, they would have sold out even faster and the amount of them on ebay for $39.99+ would have tripled and everyone would be bitching about scalpers.

Do we know what figure bulldogs head comes with yet? We usually don’t find out until MOC pictures are shown, right?

It’s useless. People never learn. Why don’t you open your own Ringside Collectibles if you’re such great business people. See if you can last almost 30 years giving stuff away and not understanding supply and demand….

This site? LOL. LMAO even… Those are 5.99 and 7.99 on RS. So it’s jacked to up charge for demand, but not to discount garbage and pass it off as full price?

Nobody ever said anything about old stock without reduced prices. Nobody is talking about that itt. Since you want to move goalposts, here's their ebay page. How much is GH warrior new on ringside?
