I think my interest is about the same. I was never that enamored with them to begin with. I think it’s a great line for characters that can benefit from the additional accessories and articulation but I don’t think it’s needed for everyone. Guys like Brock, trunks Hogan, Triple H, etc don’t really benefit much from this line. That being said, I don’t have a problem with them existing either.

I completely disagree. I only collect Ultimates of Legends. I feel as though Ultimates of current talent really hurts this line. Ultimates should be reserved for all time looks kind of like what defining moments is. This |

Ultimates are the only Mattel series I'm actively keeping track of at the moment. I'm four short from the full MOC line, I think, two I'm not bothering to look for and the others are bad retail loadouts or underruns. But I'm already getting there with the imminence of three figures in the main line. Bobby Lashley, I'm not stoked.
Like the PPV lines, it was fun in the beginning but then doubling the figures, and then the BAF component, that's a bit much.

Not even so much about the current talents, but they're not doing any special attires of theirs. As mentioned, why anyone would need an UE Brock (which looks basically the same as all of his figures)I'll never know. But that's just me. |

Absolutely not especially with Yokozuna and Rock coming out my interest couldn't be higher plus they can't keep the Rollins set stocked

I haven't lost interest, but I certainly have begun to nitpick the line. For the first time in the entire series, I have rejected 3 UEs:
1. UE RA Eddie (that awful torso; I'm happier with the L5)
2. UE RA Brock (again, that awful torso; I'm happier with the RA1)
3. UE Amazon Undertaker (too tan, man, just like that RAW 3-pack; my Undertaker figs need to be pale)
Next on the rejection list will probably be CC3 George Steele.

I only collect Ultimates of Legends as well, so it saves me some trouble looking when the current roster is out there. I do agree that there should be only people who really need the extra treatment, like Demon Finn etc. Ultimate Edge, Brock, AJ didn’t add a lot from their Elites.

They’re only really good for the butterfly shoulders on certain talent and some of the accessories, in my opinion.
Better possibility for some of them, but many (Orton, Lashley, etc.) are basically Elites.

I do think character selection has been... interesting lately, to say the least. Nothing against the wrestlers/figures - but with Orton, Lashley and Bianca, I can see a lot of discounts coming up soon...

Steve did say the mainline would mostly be featuring current day talent going forward with legends being in the Coliseum Collection, Target Legends and wherever else they can find a place for them.

They devolved quickly into feeling like Elites. And for guys like Lashley, I'm going to stick with the Elite because I don't like the stack torso, and I don't feel the extra articulation adds anything to how I'll display him, versus someone like RVD. Also, and I'm not trying to offend anyone because Eddie ruled, but man, that figure is horrendous. So when stuff like that happens I can't help but question the price tag.
The entire line has been bogged down by limited character selection for years now. I think it feels more bogged down by that issue than it maybe ever has overall, though. No more Sting, no more Macho, a laughable amount of Hogans, Taker is probably in that same boat. We've already gotten repeats of guys like Shawn/Bret/Warrior/Rock to go with those other over produced guys. I think the issue is bigger than Ultimates for me, and the issue is still, for several years running, character selection and a lack of new faces. I think I'd have less problem with the increased frequency of Ultimates if they could cast a wider net of Legends.

I preferred when ot was two per series and less store exclusives. Now it's a pain to find all of them and have the room. I don't mind the occasional exclusive but they went too big too fast. I'd also like if they didn't remake attires that already had elites and focus on something new.
