In WCW I couldn't have imagined any other guys in the group.
WWE however should've added Mr Perfect, HHH, Ric Flair, Dudley Boyz, Big Bossman and Jerry Lawler as their special commentator. Make them a huge dominant force who torment Raw.

Hall, Nash, Hogan, Giant, Syxx. Jericho could have been fun but he probably made right choice staying on his own.

It should have just been Hall, Nash, Hogan and the Giant. With Bischoff as the obnoxious heel mouthpiece Def shouldve been it

In 1996, the New World Order should have stopped adding members after Syxx. Vincent as Head of Security was good, but that's where they should have drawn the line.
In 2002, after Hollywood sold out back to the Red and Yellow, they should have become the New D-Generation X World Order, with Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, X-Pac, Big Show, Shawn Michaels, and Triple H. No Booker T., no association with Ric Flair. In fact, Ric Flair should manage a new Four Horsemen, with Booker T., Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, and a surprise 4th member.

If Nash doesnt get hurt and Hall doesnt get released id be very interested to know how 2002 would have played out. It seemed like at one point they were very much heading towards a full blown Kliq faction with Shawn, H, Nash, Hall and X-Pac in May/June 2002.
For WCW it should have only been Hogan, Hall, Nash, Bischoff imo. You can make an argument for Savage and maybe even Luger being prior WWE guys but then you start getting into it being too many guys. 3-4 is a good focus.
Once you started taking on C and D list talent, the angle was dead. Eventually it became less about this mega power faction taking over and guys joining just to either leech onto the rocket or avoid getting beat up week to week on TV.

If the NWO had stayed Hogan, Nash, Hall, Giant, Dibiase, Syxx, Savage, Bagwell, Vincent, Rogers and Wallstreet then that would have been okay for the entire 1997 year. Put in Konnan in Spring of 1997 and then adding in Curt Hennig in fall of 1997 would have been some new blood into the group.
Then put in Scott Steiner in spring of 1998 like they did and you have a pretty solid group to go after any titles they wanted.
That's where it should have stopped.

I would have done it Hall, Nash, Hogan, Savage, DiBiase (manager), Syxx & Vincent (bodyguard)....I would have had Vincent turn on DiBiase to kick him out of the nWo so Bischoff could take his place...Other then that I wouldnt have extended it further.
Steiner Brothers, Sting & Luger should have NEVER...EVER...EVER been members of any sort of version of the nWo...it was a damn shame. its like Dusty Rhodes being a 4 Horseman.

I definitely agree with you about Sting, but I was okay with Luger and Scott Steiner being in. Both of those guys worked for the WWF for a time, so they kind of fit in with the others. Plus, Scott Steiner changing to Big Poppa Pump was just what he needed to re-invigorate his career. But Sting should have been no-where near either group.

I didn't necessarily have a problem with the guys they put in, but they shouldn't have had all of those members in at one time. They really should have kept the group small, no more than 6 or 8 guys at one time. Also, all members should have had a connection to the WWF (Hogan, Hall, Nash, Syxx, DiBiase, Vincent, Macho, Rude, Perfect, Scott Steiner, etc.) Though, of the WCW guys who joined, I kind of liked Buff in the group, so he could be the exception since he helped with Steiner's heel run.
Anyone one else interested in seeing Warrior join the NWO? I mean, a match of Hogan, Warrior and Macho vs. Flair, Luger and Sting would have been a late 80s/early 90s wrestling fans dream match.

Hall, Nash, Hogan, Giant, Bischoff, and Syxx. this is my pick as well but wouldnt mind Dibiase as the money man for them either and if they added a member down the road, id go w/Savage

Maybe even Henning, too, later on down the road. No more after that IMO. Keep it "small" and tight. Maybe even lose a member or two before gaining another. For example, Savage and/or Giant get the boot/leave on their own before Hennig joins a few months later.

The following are the crew I liked as members
Hogan Hall Nash Giant Syxx Savage Hennig Bagwell Vincent Disciple Liz Steiner.
Bagwell & Steiner both grew in the group-so it was beneficial to them which is often the point of a heel faction.. As Top tier ex WWF guys Hennig & Savage were great choices to join. Vincent & Disciple were good because every faction needs bullet stoppers that the faces can beat the snot out of.
