Now we have a few ‘new age’ retros from Mattel, Zombie sailors, Chella, G&G - they’re showing no signs of slowing down and on the whole, I’m loving it.
However, I’ve absolutely no idea how to display them and it’s hurting my OCD brain. How does everyone display these?
I’m lucky enough to have a full Hasbro set in a detolf, I wouldn’t display any of them with the Hasbros and treat all these new guys as a seperate collection but do I put all Mattels together, then all zombies together, all Chella together? Do we mix and match them in year order of the wrestlers attires? Do we put the ‘Orange card’ guys together? But then what do you do with the rest?
Share some pictures of your set ups and help a guy out 😅

If I was going to go all in on them, this is what I'd do.
1)1 Detolf for Hasbros, arranged in series order. When I had all of mine in one detolf, it was green cards on top and worked backwards to series 1 at the bottom.
2) 2nd detolf, with each section dedicated to one manufacturer. Zombie on one shelf, G&G and Chella on another (since there isn't many yet) and then Mattel for the last spots.

Loose on a shelf. I don’t have may Hasbro’s left as I gave most of those and all my LJN’s to my cousins back in the late 90’s/early 2000’s. Old pic there’s more on there now. Since then I have added the Mattel Creations Retro series 1 & 2 as well as the Chella Dynamite Kid. I don’t know where my Mr Perfect is. But Piper, the Steiners, Mr Perfet, Bret Hart and a Warrior were the only Hasbro’s I kept when I gave the rest away.  Here’s a more recent pic - I am missing the Reteo Iron Sheik. I have it, but I don’t know where it is at the moment.  |

What i would do is start a whole new display pitting all chella/zombie and retros together in the same cabinet in date order. For me there is hasbro...then everything else is part of a continuation of hasbro. |

Definitely going to have Hasbros stay seperate, date order is how I go with my elites etc so yeah, I’ll probably go with that. Although each brand has a different look, having wrestlers of the same era together will hopefully look great, especially in a year or so when we have plenty. Two purple Takers together though 🥴😅 |
