2003 was one of the best years in wrestling history despite the facts that WCW/ECW were gone, Austin/Rock being part time, no more Attitude Era etc... I'd still say that we had some great moments and memories in 03 for RAW,SD,WM,PPVs etc.
We had many classics that year but what is the match of the year for you guys? You can do 5,10,15 if you can't name only one match...
The match of the year for me will always be Austin vs Rock. I still think it should have headlined the show but overall it was a great match for me. I also still can't believe that Austin stayed retired for 19 years until he finally wrestled again last year at WM38 in the main event against Kevin Owens.
HBK vs HHH RAW
HBK vs Jericho WM
Royal Rumble match
Angle vs Benoit Rumble
Lesnar vs Angle WM,SummerSlam, Iron man
Benoit vs Eddie Vengeance
Lesnar vs Taker No Mercy
Elimination Chamber match
Goldberg vs HHH vs Kane
Those were all bangers.

There are three matches that spring to mind when I think of 2003,
Shawn Michaels vs Triple H on RAW, was kind of crazy that they just did this on TV. Rock vs Austin at WrestleMania is a match that I have grown to like more and more over time, I would put it second in their trilogy of WrestleMania matches. A match that I have a ton of nostalgia for is Triple H vs Kevin Nash at Insurrextion 2003. I know people hated the reign of terror, but I loved the Triple H vs Kevin Nash feud that was in the middle of it. I still think they could have put the title on Nash here for at least from one PPV to the next.

my fiance left me in 1999 after 8 yrs and 99-2003 were kind of a blur for me. i didnt watch wrestling much because it reminded me of me and her watching wrestling. i got her hooked on it in 1992. im kinda bummed i missed so much great stuff in those years.

Shawn/Jericho Mania XIX with Angle/Benoit Rumble as a close second. I don't even know what would be my third off the top of my head.
I never think of 2003 as a good wrestling year as most of the year was seemingly spent on WCW free agents. Steiner beginning, Nash Middle, Goldberg end for Raw, add in Kane's unmasking and it wasnt any wrestling clinics. Big Show got a big push on SD, Angle got hurt, Benoit dropped down the card for a while and you ended up with Hardcore Holly of all people being pushed at the end of the year.
Was a weird year for sure.
