Got my shipping notice for HBK and the three KOs I got from this set. Says they’re out for delivery too, so when I get home from work, I’ll post some pics. Super excited!

Super excited! it looks like he doesn’t have the pterodactyl tattoo but he does on the elite 101 one tho I could be wrong we will have to wait and see and also looks like they missed off the Fight in red on the shorts but I’ll do a leg swap. |

Super excited! it looks like he doesn’t have the pterodactyl tattoo but he does on the elite 101 one tho I could be wrong we will have to wait and see and also looks like they missed off the Fight in red on the shorts but I’ll do a leg swap. He didn't have the Pterodactyl tattoo I believe when that figure is from. I don't think he got it until around Wrestlemania 2022. ETA: I'm pretty sure he didn't have the hockey skull tattoo either and I didn't see it on the photos as well. |

Can confirm that it doesn’t have the pterodactyl tattoo, nor does it have the hockey skull tattoo on his left hand (it’s usually covered by his wrist tape irl, but the E101 Owens has it). That, coupled with Mattel reusing the E91 head, leads me to believe that they reused the E91 figure for some reason to make this Survivor Series Owens. It’s a bit disappointing, but not as disappointing as them missing the “FIGHT” text on the side of his left leg. How did Mattel miss that? They’ve released Owens in those shorts at least twice… Although, I already fixed one of my Survivor Series Owens. I did a shirt and right leg swap with a spare E101 body, and then used the left leg from a spare E53 to fix the missing details. |

Can’t believe they forgot to add his fight on the left leg like you said they added it on his other figures but that’s an easy leg swap for me to do lol they should of just give him the elite 101 head dunno why they gave him the elite 90. I hope we get the duct tape KO t shirt on his next figure tho but he should have the kick pads has he wears them now inside of the boots. |

Yeah, I realized after I posted that that, for some reason, I had thought the survivor series he walked out of was pre-pandemic not post. So I had thought that was from 2019 not 2021. When I found out that it was 2021 I realized he probably did have those tattoos, but I fell asleep before I could revise anything. Honestly, if the custom I had made ages ago didn't have factory-flawed tattoos on it I would just keep that one but really, I'm just going to use the custom I made for parts and combine that with one of my spare E101s to make a proper version. And, while I'm at it, I might repaint the head on it like I did the current version I made. That E91 head actually looks decent if you repaint it. Actually, I'm pretty sure most KO heads would look better repainted, I'm not the biggest fan of how they do his fades. They always make them gradients which isn't how he usually has them. His sides are usually hard-cut buzzes rather than strict fades. ETA: It's so kind of them to make all Kevin's with interchangeable parts. Makes fixups really easy. Unless you want a street clothes figure which, best of luck, we only ever got one of those and the tattoos on it were wrong too. |
