Unless they want another Strongbow or RVD scenario then they better give him a different version of the flag because the original 13 star Betsy Ross flag has been deemed offensive. Nike were forced to pull a pair of sneakers a few years back because of the backlash they got for having the Betsy Ross flag on em. The Philadelphia 76ers have it on their logo and jerseys But that’s not the flag. Thats just stars. |

If this is true, I would think that it would be hitting soon (maybe we didn't see it since they were holding off showing figures of Rick until things died down) to hit around the SS PLE.
On one hand it makes sense, since we all know Bill loves his America attires and it would be fitting that the first Steiners we get as a tag team is the least requested attire of them.
On the other hand, I'm surprised they would do that Taker. Taker hated that jacket so if he had to approve it (like some wrestlers supposedly do), Im surprised he would. Maybe he is at the point where he doesn't care (or maybe he didn't have to approve it), but I believe he told Vince that he lost the jacket so he wasn't forced to wear it again.

It's 2023 - you can guarantee someone somewhere will be terribly offended by... something. I'm incredibly left wing and have never, ever, heard anybody say the Betsy Ross flag is offensive. This honestly just sounds like someone watched a Fox News segment about one guy on Twitter complaining about it. It was Colin Kaepernick who complained and it was enough to get Nike to pull a pair of shoes  |

Nike also had a business relationship with Kaepernick at the time, which certainly influenced any decisions.
To me, the bigger controversy would be having the Steiners first tag team release being the flag attire. But Bill does love USA themed gear.
