My buddy from the toy shop just came back from a pokemon show and told me he heard a rumor there. Now this doesn't come from his usual sources so take it with a big grain of salt. He said he's heard there is going to be a special elite four pack of The All Americans from Surivior Series coming. Apparentlly The Undertaker will be displayed so you can see the American Flag on his coat, have we ever got that look before??

That would be an awesome 4pk and one that I would buy in a heartbeat. Don't need Undertaker as the one that came with the Raw 30th set is perfect, but I will gladly take any Steiner Brothers as well as an updated USA Lex.

As a non-American I never quite understood this reference Can someone summarise it in basic wrestling mark terms? I understand it is an 'old' flag, I always thought it was done bc 'taker's gimmick is based on an old 'wild west' type of character - is that it?  |

The flag is not listed as a hate symbol by groups like the ADL as far as I can tell. However, it's sometimes flown by far-right extremists. I would love to know why Taker chose that flag over the 50 star version that represents all 50 states in the US. The "old west" USA had more than 13 states. That said, Mattel should be just fine going with the Betsy Ross flag, don't start controversy that isn't there (ya trolls)! |

Unless they want another Strongbow or RVD scenario then they better give him a different version of the flag because the original 13 star Betsy Ross flag has been deemed offensive. Nike were forced to pull a pair of sneakers a few years back because of the backlash they got for having the Betsy Ross flag on em. fr? lmao. why/how is it offensive? The left considers everything offensive. |

I don't think it was ever stated why they went with that flag, other than Undertaker saying Vince thought it looked cool. I can't think that it would have anything to do with him being an Old-West style Undertaker, as the Betsy Ross flag wasn't used then during what we look upon as "the old west". |

That's a great idea I think. People have been asking for that character of Lex Luger and Steiner's are new in the line and will be a good sell. It would actually be perfect for me in every sense, I don't have the USA Luger elite I need for my loose New Gen collection, I want the Steiners for the same reason and I was looking at getting a grey taker to convert into the Underfaker. I hope buddy is spot on with this one. |
