2004 was a good year tbh, many great moments. The Ruthless Aggression era was in full effect... what was the match of the year for you guys? Do 5,10,15 if you can't name only one...
I'm going with Foley vs Orton Backlash 04 for the IC Title in a Hard-core match... one of my fav matches ever!!! Real banger.

HBK vs Benoit RAW
Edge vs Orton RAW, Vengeance
HBK vs HHH HIAC, Last Man Standing
Rumble match
Eddie vs Brock
Eddie vs Angle WM, SummerSlam
Orton vs Benoit SummerSlam
Team Orton vs Team HHH Survivor Series
Taker vs JBL vs Eddie vs Booker
All of those were great matches in 04.

I'd go Orton/Foley but was mad about the result for a couple weeks Ha!
That Armageddon 4way was super fun being there live.
Eddie/Brock was cool being a big Eddie fan didn't think he had any chance.

Mick Foley/Randy Orton at Backlash, still one of my all time favourites. Eddie/Brock as well for the moment of Eddie winning and how much I enjoyed his run with the title. Eddie/Brock was just a classic and it was great seeing Eddie win the big one. I'd say Foley/Orton was another classic and it was great seeing Orton get a huge win. |
