I’m not sure why they wouldn’t do the Bloodline or the Judgement Day if they wanted to do a current stable. This is like doing a DOA box set in 1998 over DX or the Nation.

It’s dumb. I don’t want LWO And you know what's the beauty of it? You don't have to order it. Let us Latinos get this one.

At least it saved me the money that I would have spent on anything WCW related. I’ve watched WWE on and off casually this year and couldn’t even tell you who’s in the LWO besides Rey. I watch it every week... and I'm struggling, lol. When I had to describe the current LWO to a lapsed fan, I said it was Rey Mysterio with 2 other Mexican guys, a Puerto Rican girl and a white guy, LOL.

Yeah my thing is "Rey Mysterio, Queen Zelina, some other guys, Carlito just showed up, and they're occasionally joined by Bad Bunny." And honestly that feels more like a problem on the WWE side of things to me. Maybe if WWE wasn't so busy spending three shows a week focusing on The Judgement Day, people could remember who are in the other factions.

Shame it wasn't a CLASSIC LWO pack. How amazing would it have been to get La Parka, Psicosis, Juvi, Ciclope, etc! But I know I'm in fantasy land.
Still hopefully packs like this will encourage Mattel/WWE to get more classic luchas signed to figure deals. It's always seemed a big gap to me.
On a side note, would be cool if WWE brought another lucha legend or two into the modern group, as a manager or an enforcer or whatever. Even if they weren't in the WCW version, Konnan or Chavo Jr would seem the obvious choices IMO.

It looks nice, but it’s not something I would buy. If they were singles I might get one or two, but I am not buying a 5-pack for maybe two figures I want. I am happy for those who want it.

NWO was already done multiple times over as single figures before WWE brought back the LWO.

To the people who keep saying that the reason this boxset is being released as a boxset is because the figures wouldn't move as singles items...
I feel like you're not making the point you think you're making.
When only one or two figures in an entire custom order boxset are the sort to actually sell, that's not a gotcha, that's a reason nobody's going to buy the set.

I have little to no interest in the current WWE product, so this is an easy pass for me. Hopefully it sells well and opens up room for more sets in the future. Sign me up for some RA era box sets!

I don’t mean it as a “gotcha” and we’ll see how it sells. Overall though, what I’m trying to say is that for the LWO there’s more value to the overall group and gimmick name than there is the individual members, which isn’t necessarily the case for the other groups people are naming.

This is niche set but that doesn’t mean there aren’t people who want everyone in this faction. The purpose of a made to order item is that it allows the company to only produce the exact amount to meet demand and not have any excess inventory.

Because there’s not a member of either of those groups that wouldn’t move well on their own at retail is my guess. Right, but we don't have a Judgement Day or Bloodline boxset. I'm sure people would absolutely love that and try and get it signed the same way they did the Horsemen. If those did exist at retail I would understand more of the LWO decision. But I don't think the demand for any of those 5 is great enough to carry the box for $100+ or whatever. None of them are even close to an anchor outside of Rey, and he has roughly a bajillion figures. If Bad Bunny were in this set I'd totally understand. Zelina, Rey, and Santos could all be in the main Elite line with no issue the same way they all have been before. They could have given DJZ and the other guy a 1 per case battle pack or make them Basics again. Giving people a lesser stable a full boxset, over stables they do really care about, past or present, is weird.
