FA Rey was my most anticipated figure from the set. Lame.
That HHH headscan is ridiculous. It’s suppose to be early-corporate HHH and they got the picture on the box right but gave him that goofy DX head.

Wasn't Rey supposed to be unmasked in MNW series 2? Steve just showed Rey in elite form from the nitro stage fund.  Why must we continue to be punished for this crowdfund failing?!?! Seriously tho, this sucks. I wanted unmasked rey so bad. |

I hope we could get that WCW white singlet big poppa pump in this line. It’s my favorite attire of his. When and if it does happen, I hope Mattel has enough budget to actually mold his biker trunks rather than cheaply painting them. Also, give him short Austin boots.

I think the WM reveals last year was overkill. Left the next 12 months with pretty much no reveals. I'd be happy if they showed less and we only got it once it was in production. Maybe the odd reader about renders or what's coming but that's it. Like you say many things that are wanted get crap canned - Rey here, JJ Ultimate, Macho Man Ultimate etc and by the time we see reveals it does feel like old news I agree, but I think the issue is they've let the genie out of the bottle. If they tried to pull it back now, people would lose their minds yelling and screaming about "underwhelming reveals" and Mattel not showing anything. |

Almost certainly a WWE call. They don’t like acknowledging unmasked Rey when they can avoid it. I imagine masked Rey sells much better to kids and casual fans. |

I bet you it was WWE. We were so close man. I wonder if Mattel tried to sneak it with the two in one and then it got caught by WWE. Maybe it was Rey’s desire or we’ll possibly get one when Rey retires. I’m hoping the reason it was pulled was due to budget cuts. We could only speculate. |
