We dont matter UNTIL we stop buying from these 3rd party companies who in return see us as their end (customer)consumer. In the end however these 3rd party companies are specificallY mattel licensed resellers so it doesnt change their bottomline much if we abandon the line at walmart UNTIL walmart pulls the plug on the line. This is why the focus should be on stopping the exclusives from being released to walmart in the first place since they dont/cant control their own exclusives ending up with 3rd party companies months before walmart ever gets them. (Especially on their own website)

The best part (most obvious sign of bs) is seing mattel figure available from sellers in china months in advance. For practically the same price including shipping.

I mean, I've KIND OF done it. Like the last MWN series. All I wanted was The Disciple, I didn't want the other 4 figures, so I sold the other 4 guys loose and kept the Disciple figure as a way to get my money back. I don't really consider that scalping though. If I had seen a chase, I might have bought it just to sell it to help me get more figures. But people who don't even collect, and who are just looking for things to buy so they could immediately flip are annoying

It's the reason I stopped collecting Sports Cards. I remember in 2020, when sports cards started going insane, all I wanted to do was buy a retail box of cards at Walmart. I remember getting to Walmart at like 6 AM, before they open and there would be a line of guys waiting for the workers to open the doors. One time, they opened the doors on the other side of the building first and they all went sprinting full speed to get inside first and then the guy ahead of me pried the door open with his hands instead of waiting for the worker to open it and all of the guys sprinted straight to the card section and grabbed as many boxes of cards as possible and threw them in their cart. I didn't get a single box and they saw me trying to just grab one but they took them by the armfulls and bought them. I knew one of the guys, and sure enough I saw every single one of those boxes on Facebook Marketplace that afternoon. He bought them for $20 and was selling them for $50 each on the marketplace. One guy even got shot in the city near me because they had an argument about sports cards in the parking lot after racing each other to the aisle. My local Target decided to put a limit on how many boxes you could buy at a time and there was a guy that would stand outside of Target and offer random people cash to go in and buy him some boxes cause they'd only let him get 2. Flippers have pretty much ruined every hobby

Stuff like this is why nobody could ever find the Gorillas and Anvils they wanted, and why most AEW chases end up posted on ebay by random people who don't even otherwise sell wrestling figures.

Wrestling figures have stopped being about the joy of collecting and have turned into Hot Wheels.

Im picturing a scenario where no one bites to this guys scalping prices and they just sit at his house, taking up room, collecting dust for months on end. And he has a box full of wrestling figures that he can't shift and ends up giving them away free to his nephews just because he wants to get rid of them.



And he has to eat hoop spaghetti on toast because he wasted his money on buying in bulk wrestling figures that he can't shift

I just know I better get my damn jeans DDP and ‘98 Booker. Those were my main wants alongside the WCW black singlet Bret and also salmon Bret in the right colors.

Not to worry, history repeats itself. There's already a lot of incomplete commissioner Michaels now lol and look at that, from the same place no less.

I wish someone from Walmart could explain to us why these aren't hitting the pegs;

Since the initial stock in April (which was light) - I honestly don't think I've seen ANY Monday Night Wars on pegs that weren't moved there from a shipper.

Aren't any allocated to stores, and where are they? I get that they are also trying to satisfy the online orders (maybe) but how can they not plan better than this? These pegs have been empty for months and months.

It really sucks to keep checking these stores and they are just never stocked.

Also - my Stevie Ray is due to be delivered on 8/16 - that's ten days from now. It hasn't shipped yet. My Booker T came two weeks ago - BUT I feel like it was in the "SHIPPING" pipeline for at least ten days..... I'm getting that nervous feeling like it's gonna get cancelled..... hope I'm wrong? I ordered Booker T and Stevie Ray as part of the same order, so what gives?

I'm also waiting on a MNW Rock due 8/21..... I ordered that after I ordered Harlem Heat.

*UPDATE: of course, as I wrote this, my Stevie Ray moved to "preparing"..... so now just hoping my MNW Rock ships soon too.

*UPDATE: My Stevie Ray has shipped, and is scheduled to be here tomorrow (8/8). Hope it's blue like the Booker T they shipped, but I'll take what I get at this point.
