I can guarantee the final figure won't look this good (and this isn't even a good design!)

Am I the only one getting bored of Mitch’s endless announcements? Take a back seat and get at least a small fraction of your figures out that you have announced.

Does anyone know for sure if these figures are basic or elite style?? I know they look basic to me, but someone on X that they are Elite Style. I just need a little more reassurance.

Kind of his own hybrid from the looks and sounds of it. Definitely not the level of articulation you find with elites so I guess somewhere between an old basic and a TTL?

He's just posted a new update video, the new Macho mould looks great, also the Waylon Mercy is outstanding, the line continues to be the closest to hasbro for me, just a tad expensive though.

I'll wait till I can see how they've turned out before I even think of ordering one. He's like how Chella toys used to be.

Mitch has come a long way since Smoke Train. The Meros look incredible. I’m excited to see what these Machos end up looking like.

Mitch appears to have hit his stride with these most recent retro showings. I just hope it doesnt fall off again now that he's branching out into other styles.

As long as he fixes the quality issues then I'll give him his due. The ones he showed in his last video look good. Now his Regium line is TBD.

I'm interested to see where his retro scale line goes now that he's at least found a factory that can produce a half-decent plastic figure
what's a pity is that these figures he's about to release are where his figure line should have started all along - it's not too little, too late, but its definitely late for him to up his game when compared to the others on the scene, Zombie and Epic have obviously made him realise he's been lacking on the production value and it definitely shows when you compare the likes of Mero to even Mabel

There is a new video on IG (that one from Friday), where he shows some of the newer figures. Mero, Jaques and Pierre were shown production samples and I have to say that these look incredible. The quality appears to finally have been raised. The two Machos, Mercy and the 2 Bulldogs (all unpainted protos) do also look great. Not sure as the Rougeaus, but that might be because of the earlier proto stage. I have to admit that I haven’t been a fan of the line at the beginning. I was impressed with MOM amd felt encouraged to order more figures. Godwinns however were a huge disappointment especially after the MOM release. I got more upset when he started releasing all those repaints and combined Bulldog and Diana. BUT this latest update is impressive. Credit were it’s due. If this is how he is continuing the line, I can see me staying a regular customer. Bright times for collectors. Epic and Grapplers are doing great lately!

Couldn’t agree more with all of this, I believe there’s been a Factory switch recently

Really exciting if he has infact gotten quality down-pat. Between him and Epic, I'm really pumped for what they've been showing off and teasing for the future. Less excited as time goes on on zombie, as he continues to go further and further away from the look of the Hasbros plus the gorilla arms on most of the stuff.

I looked at his latest pics and video after this post -- I agree they look good here, but I'm still skeptical until I see what is shipped to people.
So far, nothing has touched Mabel -- and protos and samples have looked much better than what's come out.
If every figure would have been the quality of Mabel, this would be the best Retro line by far

Canadians/ Quebeccers and Mero’s look great as do Rougeaus, both Macho’s and both Bulldogs. Will be great to see painted pre productions!

I also get why Mitch chose the black gear for Mero -- it's cheaper -- but it really brings that figure down. For 5 more dollars, could have been really special if it does come out that well. (I guess he could do colorful repaints though)

(I guess he could do colorful repaints though) Black was his main gear color, especially at the beginning of his run. Mitch had already shown red and yellow variants anyway

(I guess he could do colorful repaints though) Standard release is red, black and yellow are limited. The cost of paint on those will be very minimal so I don’t think it’s going to be too much of a factor…not to mention his black gear was one of his most common looks. There really aren’t too many more choices for that time period.

Got it -- I never saw the red and yellow. My favorite was purple and pink from the Johnny B Bad era.
