All this talk about Legends deals and stuff...isn't basically every indie toy company making Davey Boy stuff? And Mattel is still making figures of him too. The new regime may be just a little more lenient with what they are allowing legends to do, in my opinion. Hell, they're letting talent keep their names when the leave the company...that speaks volumes to the changes in mindset over there.

Just ordered the sensational sherrie. That was a surprise to me. I had no clue mitch was working on her. Looking at the pics she looks good next to the Hasbro Shawn

All good points micco and questions I’m sure many have been wondering. If feathers get ruffled too much, it could be bad for the independent wrestling figure business which seems to be one of the messages Kanik was broadcasting. I’m not sure if any single independent toy company hasn’t done at least one thing that could earn them a cease and desist if WWE wanted to be unjustifiably aggressive. Even if a small company could win in court, it doesn’t mean they have the means to fight it nor would it be worth the time and stress. If WWE legal starts to take notice, we could very well see a “show of force” that would have these smaller toy companies pulling the plug on various projects to avoid the bigger fight. Legally, I’m not sure if one company would be responsible for not doing their due diligence to investigate any existing deals/contracts. I think there is probably wording in the Legends deals that would state the person signing has no other deals in place and such conflict could lead to voiding the contract/terminating the deal. But maybe not? Also, I’m not even sure how it works with a company sending someone a contract in a different state. Are the laws or penalties that would occur going to be originated from the state in which the contract is filed or are there complications with going after a party who signed it/lives in a state with different laws? Not that it is likely to ever go that far, I just wonder how it would be treated if it were to go all the way through the process. My question is really about liability saying that Mitch is operating illegally is a serious accusation. I would assume Mitch has wording in his contract that when the person signs, they’re affirming that they don’t have any other pre existing contracts that would prevent him from executing on everything discussed in it. And the moment the wrestler signs, they’d be assuming responsibility for potential damages if that turns out to not be accurate. |

I'm never going to be able to save money if Mitch has his way. I just told my gf I wouldn't spend any more money until NYCC since I spent $1000 last weekend and then Mitch goes and does this. He once had to call my house to make sure someone wasn't fraudulently charging my card because I bought so much within a couple days.
I never would have been able to control myself with Sherri.

Props to Mitch. Sherri looks great. That said, I always wanted my Queen Sherri to go with Series 2 Macho. Plus, we get Liz to go with Series 1 Macho. So it's Mattel all the way on this one. Which is probably a rare occurrence, especially with Mitch's output lately, but just how it's going to fall on this one for me.
Also, can someone please hook him up with Raven? I desperately want a Johnny Polo.

I desperately want a Johnny Polo. Polo would be a great addition. If I were a betting man, I would say ZST has him locked up for the 7in line. It just makes good sense and would probably thrill most collectors to get that missing piece. The good news is that these contracts won’t last forever so if any company is left standing in the next 2-3 years, we will likely see it made. |

I feel like she is the best fitting female figure thus far. Chyna might rival her but I would need to really take a closer look. Bull Nakano was perfect outside of her height. Diana improved but she kind of feels like a figure from another line. Wendi and Alundra are a little bit off. Wendi feels out of place time-wise and something about it just doesn’t click with me. It’s weird to say that her action pose works for others but not for her. It’s a personality thing maybe haha. Alundra looks good but is a bit tall and the wow factor is kind of lessened as she once again is in the same exact pose. KWK’s Bull Nakano is going to be a pretty amazing female figure but I worry that it is slightly too big. Chella showed off Missy Hyatt a while back but I think that was scrapped. Anyone else I forgot? |

Hips are wider, shoulders are narrower and height is usually slightly shorter. Instead they make them way small as if women are a different species. This ruined Luna, Chelsea and Bull Nakano. |

parrish Thank you! I didn’t want to start with them but I got distracted while writing that and lived up to my user name and went completely blank. Those two were pretty bad and just not in the Hasbro spirit. This is much closer IMO.
